a character in the Bible. Possibly real but his story is only in the Bible and not backed up elsewhere. Possibly what occurred is that this was a real individual who gained a very loyal following and over the course of some years legends developed around this character and were written in the Bible. And even more legends like the trinity developed after the Bible and the Bible was picked, translated, and interpreted to fit that particular legend. Jesus was likely a good fellow in comparison to many of his time or he may have actually thought and taught that he was the vessel of God speaking for him. In that case he would be kinduv like other crackpots who gained a following (Mormon religion for example). The Bible presents him as in opposition to other corrupt leaders political, and of the temple or whatever in that time. I see that Jesus was likely a strong character and natural leader however I don't see him as particularly amazing. The golden rule which Jesus, is famous for in the Bible, for example is a slight modification on what a Jew before him Hillel the Elder is known as saying. And very similar teachings to the golden rule are in religions throughout the world. It is also easily established in people to think in such a way.
part of the trinity, son of god, lord and savior, as being kind, loving, treat no one differently, even though we are different in one way or another, not judging but saving..he came to this world not to condem, but to save. and he is real and i love him.
There's alot of deception here! Why is Jesus depicted as a North European when He actually was a Palestinian Jew? His features would have included black hair, caramel complexion much like Palestinians of today. Remember Jesus lived before the diaspora. Depicting Christ with fair hair & blue eyes is deceitful and points to the fact that many Europeans would find it difficult to worship a Palestinian with ruddy complexion!
Furthermore what's with the long hippy hair? Rabbis of that time did not wear their hair so long. Jesus must shudder when He sees these ludicrous depictions of Himself.
Furthermore, Jesus never asked to be worshipped. He wanted to be followed as the route to understand God.
God Almighty referred to Jesus not as the Messiah but as His Son. You all should check out the Transfiguration in the New Testament.
Whatever preconceptions the Jews have of the Messiah have been superceded by the Son of God. The Almighty told us to listen to Jesus. So, although Jesus did not tick all the boxes necessary for the Jewish Messiah, God already conferred Him as His Son and gave Jesus authority.
As for Jesus' miracles, it is obvious that they are true. Science has never and will never be the only reality.
Jesus was able to subdue the laws of matter tthrough God's intervention.
So, to conclude, I see Jesus as the Son of God, just as God almighty described Him.
MY PROVIDER, MY HEALER, MY HOPE AND SALVATION. My Source and My Strength. The One who gave his His life for me. MY REDEEMER. My friend and confidante. God Himself wrapped in flesh to dwell among men. One who loves me.
See Matthew 16:13 - 19 among many other places. He is the Son of the living God. He is God entering human history in a form which is fully human and fully divine.
Note: This is my own personal view, I don't care if others believe in him, I won't think of them any differently for having their own beliefs.
sent by god to guide us and deliver us from all evil
