I kind of want to read 50 Shades, but the reviews of my friends and almost everybody make it sound awful. Perhaps I might try it out anyway.
I just finished reading The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. Very dry, but his writing kept me on the hook. Going to start reading his Plays out of curiosity.
I'm about to (finally) start the Hunger Games and the Blood Lines series' (spin off from the Vampire Academy series) because I can't just read one series at a time. I'm currently on the look out for the last Immortal Instruments book, just because I feel obligated to finish the series.
50 shades of grey is awful! LOL But it's like you are transfixed and have to see where it's leading or what will happen to the lady. It's not awful as in poor writing or boring or anything like that. But it presses on your morals of a healthy sexual relationship.
I've read all that you mention and all I have to say is you are out for a feast of a read! :) Enjoy it all!
I've seen some of the passages, I must admit, it does look intriguing, though, I disagree about it not being bad writing. Meh, I'll see where it takes me, though, I doubt I'll have many moral objections. Books are not for morals, they're for stories.
While you are right, fiction is fiction, but it's about real topics that push you or just make you happy. This book will push. How do you think it's bad writing? Just want to know because I haven't really read any book where I thought, geez! this writing sucks! LOL I guess I'm just not picky; not that you are. I don't mean that at all.
I'm reading catching fire right now but very slowly because I don't want it to be over cause then I'll only have Mockingjay left and I don't know what I'll do after that.
Some of the books in the Animorphs series. Read those books all the time when I was a kid, and found them in the public library a few days ago and decided to reread them.
I just finished rereading Anne of Green Gables. I also finished Fifty Shades of Grey a few days ago....I have never laughed so much in my life. It was so. Freaking. Terrible.
I loved that book. Cried many times reading it. Have you ever read Angela's Ashes? Another sad yet "pulling yourself up against all odds" book. Another good one..."A Child Called It." How some turn out normal against all odds.
God don't remind me. I mean I'm a strong guy (Mentally) but reading that at the age I tried was too much. I might try again though. Words can't describe how sad they are in my opinion.
Very sad reading, but try to look at this way....they managed to have a good and happy life afterwards. They had a happy ending. Too many don't. In the end, they are positives and a testament to a persons courage and strength.
a girl named grace was attacked by wolves when she was younger and this one gray wolf saved her 'her wolf'. latter on in the futer Sam (her wolf) is shot because a girl named Isabells brother was 'killed' by the wolves (there werewolves) and turns out once your bit by one you change to a wolf. jack (Isabells brother) keeps showing up and talking to people he knew when he was a human. The wolves shift because of the tempature so when it gets cold they change. they try to find a way to make it so Sam and Jack stop changeing because even tho Grace was bit she never changed. ok saddly this is all i can remember from it right now i have finised the book twice and im reading it again but i cant really remember any thing right now
Awesome! Are you going to read the other two books? I just reserved them at my library, but I won't get them for a long time considering how many have requested them ahead of me. LOL I don't care. While I was captivated with curiosity, I would never go for Mr. Grey. LOL

Definitely interesting. :P
I recommend it to everyone. I loved the way she did the story. It was told from the point of view of four people.
