I wouldn't go there if I starved to death naked. After fighting them for over a year our adlerman sold us out. Walmart Express came in about a month ago. Small businesses are already shutting down. As the song says, There goes the neighborhood.
I go to the Military Commissary once a month for a stock up trip ..
(then onto the island to the gourmet store to get the fresh herbs/spices that I stock up on as well as the Fresh Coffee Beans/Blends)
and twice a month to the nearest Publix for anything else that is cold items ..
(we just carpool to the stores .. it is easier this way to just stock up and store in the pantry ... fridge and freezers .. )
I've been to Wal-mart three times in my life. I have no interest in the place and would far sooner shop at local businesses(I'm Canadian) and not some foreign multinational.
I dont go there, its not anywhere near as cheap as people make it out to be and what few things you do find cheap there are also very cheaply made so you dont really save any money. I also dont buy groceries there because I can get the same or nearly the same items at Kroger's for less.
We buy our dog food there it is cheaper then any where else. And sometimes they have a product no other store has. But I always check to make sure it was made in the USA. Almost all their products are imported..
A little of everything. Ours has been completely remodeled and is really nice. We've got a huge grocery + all the other departments, so I literally can go and get a bit of everything when I go there. It saves me from having to go to several places.
