Obviously incest happened at some point. While I believe in a God, I cannot logically follow everything in the bible. It contradicts itself, not to mention it was written and put together by a bunch of men. There are books that didn't make it into the bible either. There are really several answers that could be given depending on which source you look at.

that's just a folk tale devised to try to explain something that mankind hasn't ever been able to explain: the origin of mankind. if the adam and eve story were true, we'd all be the product of incest ... of course, that COULD explain why mankind is so fcuked up and spends so much time and energy trying to kill its brothers and sisters ... IMHO, if you want to find something useful in those old books of folk tales, look for it in the example that Jesus gives by the sacrifice he makes for mankind, and then consider that you should treat your fellow man (and woman) with the kind of respect and concern that Jesus showed when he gave up his life for humanity ...

Just because it isn't very logical doesn't make it stupid, logic isn't the only thing that exists in this world. Also there's no proof of any incest, that's just something perverted liberals made up. Jsyk I have a highly logical personality and I accept viewpoints that aren't logical.

Incest is just the conclusion many come to when raised in Christianity (which I was) because we are taught that Adam and Eve were the only two people at the time. They have their kid's in school claiming that even posters, yes posters, violate their rights just because it advertises a club prayer event. Don't forget the atheist that complain just because a kid prayed before he/she ate.

Its not like the kids were forcing the atheists to come to the event or forcing the atheists to pray.

If you ever read, it was because of a war. Not started by God's people but the people who harassed and even killed many of God's people. I honestly feel like Osama didn't deserve death, because God gives second chances. Unlike the world we live, in which most of the time we have to push and make second chances for ourselves.

You didn't exactly get it. In the world, people without God have to fight for themselves. God is always moving in the favor of his people, but sometimes we have to make a move for God to move.

Some people refuse to move when God says its time, some people try to move ahead of God, some people stand in God's way and don't realize it, some people are responsible for making people fall away from God. There are quite a bit of things that causes interference with God's will.

I'm not Catholic, the Knight Templar have nothing to do with God's will. Some people seem to have made the Catholic Religion the representative of Christianity like people have stereotyped Republicans as Conservatives and Democrats as Liberals.

Actually, it wasn't God that destroyed Sodom & Gamorrah. The real story, people kept mocking and teasing the angels. Evidently the people said something that was similar to an order but joking and the angels took them up on their offer. Warned people and most didn't take it. We as humans do have control over the angels but we have to be really careful.

Okay, freedom of choice has consequences. Like the red pill, blue pill, thing. Not choosing to accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior, you will not gain Heaven after death. Which is the truth. Some strange coincidences but not everything has a direct connect as you all try to justify. You and many others may deny it but the Catholic institution was heavily influenced by the pagans. I was warned by someone around Halloween. I didn't find it unbelievable because there is a lot of nasty in the air during Halloween. I assumed it might be the witches.
