How would you feel if your friend was a transsexual, trans gender, transvestite, gay, or a cross dresser?

Philo-Publius 2010/06/09 01:43:32I'd be toatally fine with it.

but as long as they had been a good friend prior to their disclosure, I'm pretty sure little would change. Listen, I really DON'T want to know what folks do in the bedroom. I don't care who they are, I don't want to hear about it.
Later on, I still had the hoodie, but I dressed more like an, "emo" ("scene") dude; black eyeliner on occasion, coloring in my nails with black sharpie, which quickly transitioned into black nail polish whenever I felt like it, and skinny jeans.
After that, I'm going to just skip ahead a bit to make this short; I started wearing more feminine clothes, and had, by then, come out to everyone. It was completely gradual. Now, I'm on hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and I wear anything I want, if it suits me.
And true, not everyone does it gradually, but those people usually exert some signs before coming out and switching gender roles.
Sorry if I wasted your time ^_^;;
And thank you for you post :3
And I understand that being loud and obnoxious (whether obviously gay or not) is annoying for others to deal with, but not all openly gay people are all fem and loud, talking with a slight lisp and saying things are fabulous all the time, those are stereotypes, which I'm sure you understand full-well. Point is; don't be afraid of them. Guys are usually ok with stuff like this, they just don't know how to act a lot of the time, so it could be slightly awkward for a while................I sound like a pretentious bitch, don't I? =.
Thank you for the post ^w^
I also have gay friends and relatives and they are wonderful people and I'm glad I have them in my life. I've never know a transgender or transvestite but I can't imagine that I would feel any different toward them as friends. I probably should have checked the "totally fine" answer.
Ugh, you first sounded like you didn't like the LGBT community, that's all, and I just wanted to make sure of your intentions and your views on the matter.
