Not at all for me! I wear clothing that was up to date in the 19th century! Like Victorian era mourning dresses that are very modest or Gothic lolita clothing, which was based of the mourning cloths of the dolls that Victorian children would play with. LOL

1860 - 1910 Fills the majority of my wardrobe. I also have some stuff from early 2000's, and a very small percentage of 2012 stuff so far… I want some Victorian boots, but authentic ones are made from leather, and I'm a vegetarian/vegan, so that doesn't help…

I Love anything Vintage, I love anything from theoutnet, forever 21, modcloth, Topshop. I might very well just live in the store. I just wanted to say they don't teach you this in prep school so it's up to me no amount of vintage dresses gives you dignity. True story!!!

my style leans the most toward the emo subgenre/culture.... I throw a little bit of punk in there, with the spikey bracelets n such :), scene.... stuff like that..... uhm, one might consider how I do my makeup gothic. can't wear black lipstick at my school, but I try to get away with as much black on my lips as I can.... I just really don't like my natural shade of lips, so.... little bit hipster, I'll admit to that..... I always have my longboard with me so I'm always wearing Vans.... so yeah. just call me a gothemsterpunkskatescene kid.

For the most part I wear modern clothes but I'm a HUGE fan of vintage/retro clothing too. I like fashions of the late 40s-70s. I don't have enough money to buy a lot of the clothes I really want, but I honestly like new and old clothes. Whatever I find cute and stylish regardless of the age. I also like Gothic lolita but I couldn't ever afford those clothes! lol
