Introduction

Interpretation of the Scripture should be done in the light of certain principles. We must view parts of the Bible in relation to the whole; otherwise the Bible will seem to contradict itself in certain places. Since the Bible is the work of one mind--the mind of the Lord--it does not in actuality contradict itself.


When we cannot understand something that seems to be a contradiction, the lack is not in God's Word. Rather, it is because of human limitations or a lack of full knowledge. If we find something hard to understand initially, we should seek the Holy Spirit for illumination. Generally, revelation on difficult issues will come to us little by little, as we continue to seek the Lord and have an open heart. As we read more of His word, we gain a bigger picture of His heart and purposes. Our "spiritual vocabulary" is increased. As our "vocabulary" is expanded, we find that it becomes increasingly easier to understand God's Word. As you regularly apply the the following principles to your Bible study, you will find that knowledge and wisdom will come easily to you. The Holy Spirit wants to share the treasures of God's Word with those who esteem Him. However, these treasures will never be grasped by one who is determined to fly throug the Bible in a superficial manner. God hides His greatest treasures from those who would misuse them, or who are not willing to seek Him for them. He does this both to protect His Word, and to protect the shallow seeker from receiving truth they are not ready to act upon.


The most important principle to remember in studying God's Word is that it can only be understood with the help of the Holy Spirit. Those who approach the Bible without the Holy Spirit to teach them, may gain some insight into their lives, but will receive no life-changing revelation. There are cultists and atheists who know the Bible better than many Christians. Why are some able to read of God's Word, and yet bear no fruit in their lives? The answer is simple: Because, they are not open to the Holy Spirit's guidance as they read the Word.


Therefore, it is absolutely crucial that we acknowledge the presence of the Holy Spirit and ask Him to lead us into all truth and to make the mysteries of God's Word known to our spirit.


"A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not: but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth" (Proverbs 14:6)


"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you." (John 16:13-14).


"But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned" (1 Corinthians 2:10-14).









Bible Study Tools

Some of the first things that you will need for effective Bible study, are the right tools. A good concordance is a great help in studying the Bible, and probably your most important tool. (A concordance is a listing of where all the same words appear throughout the Bible. For instance, if you wanted to study the topic of "fire" or "the fear of the Lord," you could refer to your concordance and find every verse where that word or phrase is listed in the Bible). Most Bibles have small concordances in the back of them so you can look up different topics to get a broad view of that subject. However, you will need a larger one, such as Strong's, to research a topic thoroughly. "Strong's Exhaustive Concordance" is an excellent tool, as it also includes a dictionary in the back of it, giving deeper meaning to the Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic words that the Bible was originally written in. Every serious student of the Bible will want to look up the original meanings of the words from time to time. "Young's" and "Cruden's" also are good reference works.


The serious Bible student will also want to invest in dictionaries and commentaries for additional help in understanding the Word. We recommend Bible dictionaries such as, "Vine's," "Boyd's," and "Wilson's." Some of these are available thorugh our Chapel Bookstore.


Commentaries should be used only sparingly. After referring to a commentary, ask the Holy Spirit if that particular interpretation is correct, or if there is more revelation on that subject that God still wants to show you. Commentaries can be very helpful, but it is often too easy for people to look upon them as though they were the Word of God itself. Even the most anointed man or woman of God can be wrong,(or just shallow) in their understanding or interpretation of certain subjects. Also, there is a great joy to be had in receiving revelation over a Bible passage, directly from the Holy Spirit. You may find the same conclusion by referring to a commentary, but these can also rob you of the joy that comes from making those discoveries on your own!


On the other hand, by no means are we advocating that all students toss out their commentaries! God placed teachers in the body of Christ for our edification, and we would be wise to learn from them. The point we are making, is that we should first direct our questions to the Holy Spirit, and then to man. When commentaries and other teaching tools are esteemed properly, they can be most helpful and useful. We will address this subject again, later in this article.









First Principle of Biblical Interpretation

The primary rule of Biblical interpretation is this: We must interpret any scripture by other scriptures. This means, that by referring to other verses about the same subject, we can get a more complete picture of that subject.


The science of interpretation is called hermeneutics from the Greek word hermenuo, which means "to interpret or explain."


Let us use the incident in Acts 4:18-20 as an example of how to use scripture to interpret scripture where there seems to be a contradiction:


And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.


This scripture describes the day when the council of elders in Jerusalem, which had authority over all religious matters, ordered Peter and John not to speak any more of Jesus or of the things He had done. The apostles knew the Old Testament writings told them to submit to authority. Yet, we find them saying they have to speak about the things they saw and heard to be right in the sight of God!


Looking at 1 Peter 2:13-15, it also seems to contradict what Peter and John did that day in Jerusalem.


Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men.


From reading the above verses, it would appear that the Bible contradicts itself. However, as we study the rest of Scripture, we see that Peter's instructions in his first epistle do not really contradict his actions as recorded in Acts. We find from the rest of the Bible there are limitations to submission to earthly authority. We will find that we are not to obey earthly authority, civil or religious, if it contradicts God's authority, which is supreme over all other authority (Colossians 1:16-18).


There are other Scriptures that show us how to know when to obey earthly authority and when not to. Here are a few more of them:


-- Words spoken by Jesus and later recorded in Matthew 22:36-38, which told them to love the Lord above all things and all people. Along with that were Old Testament admonitions that the apostles knew well, which said that, if someone loves God, he will obey Him.

-- Peter's words in Acts 5:29-33, where it is recorded that he told the authorities that they "...ought to obey God rather than men."

-- The words of Gamaliel, one of the religious authorities presiding at the hearing, when the apostles continued preaching about Jesus. The wise priest and scholar said the men should be left alone, because if something is of God, it will stand (Acts 5:38,39). (In other words, if what Peter and John were saying was not of God, it would not last, but would die out).









Other Principles of Interpretation

Some other guidelines of interpretation are:


1. A second principle of interpretation then is to establish a fact or truth in the mouth of two or three witnesses in referring to Scripture. This means there should be at least two or three scriptures verifying a doctrine, or principle (Deuteronomy 17:6, 19:15; Matthew 18:16; 2 Corinthians 13:1; 1 Timothy 5:19; Hebrews 10:28). It takes more than one scripture to prove a doctrine, a point, or a principle. This is where the concordance can be such a blessing to the Bible student. The assistance they give in making a topical study of any subject in God's Word is invaluable.


2. Another important principle of interpretation is known as: "the law of first mention." In testing Scripture by Scripture, it is important to look for the place in the Bible that a subject, attitude, or principle is mentioned for the first time and see what it meant there. Again, this requires looking up words or phrases in a concordance.

3. Scripture should always be accepted literally unless it is clearly figurative or symbolic. "Spiritualizing" too much can dilute God's Word, while "literalizing" too much can bring bondage and legalism. The Holy Spirit is our guide.

For example, in Revelation 12:4, Satan is described as being cast out of Heaven with a third part of the "stars" going with him. To understand what this means, let us first apply the "law of first mention." Going to the concordance, we find the word stars first mentioned in the book of Revelation in Revelation 1:20. We see in that verse the interpretation for stars is "angels, or messengers of God."


We use the first mention in Revelation, instead of the first mention in Genesis, because Revelation is full of symbolic pictures of literal things, while Genesis is a book describing literal events. We now can understand the interpretation that one-third of the stars means "angels," and therefore, we understand it was angels who were cast out of Heaven with Lucifer (the dragon) to the earth.


Often, Biblical passages will have more than one meaning--a literal meaning or fulfillment, as well as a spiritual one. We should seek the Lord for the full revelation on a particular passage. For instance, is the initial fulfillment of a certain prophecy all that God wants to do with that part of His Word or is there still a greater fulfillment that has yet to occur? This method of reading the Bible can be potentially dangerous, as many cults and false revelations have sprung from those who spiritualized God's Word into doctrine far from the Lord's original intention. However, the opposite danger can also be true, from those who see no new revelation or application to be gained from God's word, other than what has been previously established. Both extremes can be dangerous, as both can prevent us from seeing the Lord clearly.


However, if you are new to Bible study, the best way to read it is at face value, without trying to determine all the layers of meaning that may be hidden there. As we continue to seek God, He will reveal those layers of meaning as we are ready to receive them. Human wisdom can never ferret them out.


4. We should pray and ask the Holy Spirit to illuminate the Word to us before beginning any study. Then we can understand by revelation. The Lord at times may speak a direct message to us from His Word (which will be the application of His Word to our spirits). However, we should avoid using the Bible as a "personal fortune teller." Some people open the Bible to a page, then point to a verse with their eyes closed, and use that for guidance and direction.

Sometimes, for "baby" Christians, God will give them a message that way, but continued use of that method amounts to fortune-telling, (much like reading tea leaves), and the enemy will get involved sooner or later. The best way to get answers from God is to spend time daily in prayer and studying the Word; then in our times of study, the Holy Spirit will make the Bible alive to us by highlighting a certain verse, passage, or topic that will speak to us.


5. Trust God's Word above all else. We must believe fully in the integrity of God's Word and give it first place, if we are to know the God who wrote it. A new Christian will not understand the Word as well as a mature Christian, who has studied the Bible enough to get an understanding in his or her spirit of the way God thinks and acts.

Let's look at some scriptures from the Word written by four different men who were inspired of God. Their writings covered a period of time ranging over about 1,500 years, yet each of them verify the faithfulness of God's Word to us.

Moses: "...Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?" (Numbers 23:19).
David: "The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shall preserve them from this generation for ever. ...Thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name" (Psalms 12:6,7; 138:2).
Jeremiah: " ...I will hasten my word to perform it" (Jeremiah 1:12).
The Apostle John: "The scripture cannot be broken...Thy word is truth" (John 10:35; 17:17).

It takes trust that God wants to open up His Word to you, and faithfulness in studying it, and waiting on Him to gain true understanding and knowledge (John 6:51,52,60,66; Hebrews 5:12-14). It does not make any difference what things look like; if God said it, He will do it. Although what we see happening is beyond our personal experiences with God, we should still choose to believe God's Word in spite of our lack of understanding


"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5).


In addition to the Bible itself, we can and should use and appreciate the writings and works of godly men and women throughout history. They were raised up by God to teach others the knowledge of His Word and to lead others in faith (Ephesians 4:11-15; 2 Timothy 2:2).

One example of a Christian work outside the Bible that has lasted for more than two hundred years and has been invaluable to many is the classic, Pilgrim's Progress, by John Bunyan. This is a very good book that gives a graphic picture of the overcoming Christian walk through this world.


However, even in listening to men and women of God or in reading their works, we must prove what we hear to be scriptural. That is every Christian's individual responsibility.


"And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given" (Mark 4:24).


"Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them" (Matthew 7:20).


"Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things" (Matthew 12:33-35).









"Proving" Those Behind the Pulpit

There are some practical guidelines that we can use for "proving" or "testing" those who teach or preach:


1. Notice the words of their mouths. Jesus said that the mouth speaks out of the abundance of the heart (Matthew 12:34).


2. Notice their lifestyles.


3. Notice the fruits of their spirits (Galatians 5:22,23).


If we can see drastic problems in these areas, we need to seek the Lord to see if He really wants us sitting under this person's authority. On the other hand, do not expect perfection in any leader. No man or woman has all the truth or is to the place where God is not working in them any longer. There was only one perfect man: Jesus Christ. Men will fail at some time or other. Only God, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus will never fail us.


If we put our leaders up on pedestals as "stars" or "heroes and heroines," our expectations will sooner or later turn to disillusionment, and then we will be tempted to judge them harshly. However, it is proper to respect them and look to them as godly role models and as examples, when we see Jesus demonstrated in their lives.


Here are some more "don'ts" concerning our right attitudes to leaders:


-- We should not exalt spiritual leaders as persons, but we should honor and respect their offices in Jesus and listen to them.
-- We should not put them above God.
-- We should not expect them to do our praying for us.
-- We should not expect them to make decisions for us. Check out any counsel with the Word, and remember that we are individually accountable to God for our personal choices and decisions. Our leaders may help us come to right decisions based on the Word of God, but we should not take their counsel as God's final Word.
-- We should not refuse all of a teaching or all of their advice simply because it is not possible to agree with part of it. We should accept what is right and throw out the rest--if we know it is not right. However, if the part we cannot accept is something e may not yet understand, then we would be wise to lay it aside for the time being and study to understand it.
-- We should not have an unteachable spirit so that truth cannot be received when it comes in different teaching or preaching styles or in a different type of word usage.
-- We should not accept a teaching if it does not glorify Jesus and His kingdom. However, a "hard word" that glorifies God and His Word can be God's correction to us, when it is motivated by love for us. Test the spirit (attitude) of the person delivering that word.







Conclusion

In conclusion, then, principles for interpreting the Bible are:


1. Let Scripture interpret Scripture.
2. Prove an interpretation in the mouth of two or three witnesses.
3. Find the first time a certain subject is mentioned in Scripture and study that for its fuller meaning (the law of first mention).
4. Take the Bible literally wherever possible and as it makes sense. Consider it from the standpoint of God's power, ability, and character.
5. Gain familiarity with the Bible as a whole. In other words, get to know the "forest," not just what some individual "trees" look like.
6. Do not handle the Word of God deceitfully (2 Corinthians 4:2). In other words, we should not make it say just what we want it to or what someone else has told us it says. And, do not use it as "fortune telling."


As we continue to study the Bible and feed on it's riches daily, we will find that God's Word will indeed make us strong and wise. As we fill ourselves with it, it will naturally flow through us to feed a world that is starving for manna from heaven. Those who make it their life goal to walk intimately with the Holy Spirit through God's word and through prayer will find that there is no greater delight that can be given to man. The costly and glorious treasures that are found within God's Word are the only things that can satisfy the deepest hunger in all of us.


"Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David" (Isaiah 55:1-3).


"O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day. Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts. I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word. I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me. How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way" (Psalm 119:97-104).


"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it" (Matthew 13:45-46).

    Interpretations proved? Really now. Interpretations are opinions.

    Good point, but there would be stones growing with the trees if one does that!

When you are seeing (or hearing) something, you are assigning a value to the inanimate, uncaring marks of the shapes and colors (or when listening, the air molecules); and assigning your own values (IMPORTANCE) at all times based on what you WANT TO BELIEVE THE VALUE (or worth) IS. When you were growing up, children typically believe the values someone else has given to the imprints (sights) or vibrating air molecules (sounds). For the purpose of TEACHING discernment, this means, you don't have to believe what you are reading or hearing as something to believe, as the whole truth or even partial truth. Every person who has ever taught you something has only been presenting their value of what they took in with their own eyes and ears; and they may not have had the entire truth of the matter at the time; OR mostly because it may have been skewed by them or others in an effort to serve their own interest.

    Remember this as you go about your daily business; nothing but imprinted images (not the real or even original construct) are entering your eyes at all times. Don't assign a value until you know the value you actually WANT to assign to the information. This is actual learning; actual discernment. The intellectual spiritual you (the same spiritual energy which makes up God's image) starts out as intellectually perceptive enough for you to place values on information, which you do; and then you base your decisions on those values. You will come to understand the importance of waiting to place a value on something (wait on the Lord), and not immediately letting your eyes or ears be the judge of the content. There is more of this perception concept at the end of this writing, to teach to the children.

    I say these things because of this: I don't ask that you believe the words of this writing; I only ask that you consider what they may offer; as much as you consider other words and what they offer.


    If the truth ONLY is not taught, why teach anything at all?

    Dear Educators (Parents in particular);

    With the above in mind...

    There is an odious dichotomy (evil contradiction in principles) which exists in the Global Educational System; the system by which information is selected, gathered, and disseminated; what is taught, when it is taught, and to whom it is to be taught.

    Throughout the world in most all nations, there are institutions which teach children in the areas of peace, providing EDUCATION (information) in the industries and professions which provide service to humanity, health, conservation of natural resources, even enlightening education;...

    AND YET AT THE SAME TIME, there are institutions which ARE teaching children in the strategies of competition, war (even given guidance through various media outlets, through games and movies, describing some things like fighting and killing others as FUN); institutes providing education of manufacturing of products and services which promote exploitation or even death of human lives; exploitation of natural resources; institutes continuing in teaching failed economic methodology and the development of financial strategies which enhance class distinctions; derisive politics, and the like.

    And unfortunately, it is a little confusing because there appears to be bad ideology, methodology, philosophy taught in both sides of this educational institute spectrum, and with both the good and the bad taught in many institutions such that even the pure in heart (the children) become tainted.

    But, WHAT IS SOCIETY TO CONTINUE TO DO; TEACH EVERYTHING (putting the imprinted images of EVERYTHING, as was mentioned above, in front of the eyes of young and impressionable people) AND HOPE IT WORKS OUT IN THE END!!!!???? WILL PEACE OR EQUITY EVER BE ATTAINED under the circumstances?

    It is not going to happen EVER under such a massive discrepancy, and conflict of interest AND PRINCIPLES.

    Have you even ONCE considered what living under such a system for thousands of years has done to condition people to believe what is acceptable in this world, but in reality IS NOT NORMAL (and that it perpetuates all the mental stress and emotional conflict in society)?? How is it that an intellectual being can (is suppose to) function, when they are currently and daily, without consciousness of what it is doing to them, processing the educational dichotomy as a rational premise; a flawed ideology which IS that which conflicts with their INNATE intellect to work peacefully together? What is higher education doing to find and prove the best way for society to function? Nothing. Higher education has stagnated, slowed down and is entrenched in ancient dogma and philosophy; unable to determine what may be intellectual, catering to the ways of business and government, because it is easy and puts financial rewards in their pockets. And just like the current economic system, not everybody is equally served in education as well.

    BUT, WORSE OF ALL, all this dichotomy (has done) DOES (AND WILL EVER DO) is to cause ALL children to be funneled into OPPOSING FACTIONS. Two children (or more) living in the same neighborhood who may have played together growing up, or may even be related (Are we not all the same species, created in one image, having a common bond), may in their grown-up existence and pursuits, end up in opposing ideology in their approach to life, vying with each other for the same or opposing things; with no possibility for actual peace between them; the kind of peace where once as a child, there was. Currently, this is the legacy of the human species from one generation to the next: CONTINUE TO BURDEN THE NEXT GENERATION in not resolving a single social woe; because nobody will bother to pass the TRUTH OF MATTERS onto the next generation.

    Christian, Muslim, Jew, Hindu, Buddhist, Atheist, Agnostic, et al – regardless of your belief or lack thereof, how is this educational dichotomy to solve one problem; or even to make disciples of (from) the nations? (As for your God, why do you give so high regard for your own importance in your belief to one another; and not consider your God's perspective of how you represent yourself of who He is? You war with one another IN A MULTITUDE OF WAYS (What does your particular "religion" teach) simply through having divisions; but does He war against Himself?) How has continuing in this practice of teaching everything, warring and working against one another, to work to bring peace and justice or resolve any social dysfunction? And, don’t you grow tired of being whipped into service to create human pyramids (power structures) which services only a few at the top? AND, given that the same business and government processes that were used hundreds of years ago (even thousands), are currently being used (even if only modified to suit technology), how much longer would achieving peace, or resolution of a matter, take under the circumstances!!!?

    Why do you seem content in your daily pursuits that these things continue to exist? You are the human species first created in God's invisible image; and everything after that is subjective to your self-conditioning or through external conditioning; and that which interferes with cohesiveness. Tell me, you'd rather wrap yourself up in a specific ideology rather than resolve an educational conflict of principles which causes you or your group's ongoing struggles? You work hard at asserting your individuality; and it is this exact hardheadedness and hardheartedness about your individuality WHICH HAS BECOME the functioning of society. Everybody and their opinion or belief no matter where or when it has come from, has to be catered to; and everybody who has invested into your special needs is going to find a way to profit by it. This IS the kind of work society has vested itself in, perpetuating of divisions and conflict, outside of just providing the basic necessities of life for everyone. Some life, huh? Struggle and war with one another over petty issues instead of seeing if there is a better way to exist for the short time you are encased in fleshly matter.

    As for what your leaders propose: Is it even possible for those sitting in seats of authority (your purported leaders) or those running for office (in any country) or those sitting in corporate boardrooms to accomplish anything they promise in serving humanities needs, under the burden of this massive “educational” methodology discrepancy? NO; yet leaders promise they are knowledgeable enough to fix things or make things better. The leaders of the past created it; the leaders of today continue to ALLOW THE PRINCIPLES OF IT CONTINUE TO EMPOWER THEM. If they solve this problem, then they have no more power. They are educated enough to see the dichotomy I mention and how it works to their advantage; and how it empowers them in their pursuits; therefore, in whatever they say, they lie; or they are completely ignorant and shouldn't be in a position of authority to begin with. And as for business, when a price hike takes place, just remember, it's not some arbitrary machine making the decision; it some human being seeking a larger profit for who knows what for their group and not yours. That is what life has come to be all about: success or profit for an individual group; and no real intellectual success for the human species at large.

    Therefore, PEACE, PROSPERITY IS NOT EVER GOING TO HAPPEN through anything the leaders put into place, when the action does not address everybody's need equitably! Those not being served will react accordingly, always.

    PEACE will happen only when certain things are REMOVED from society; removing the divisions; removing the practice of teaching everything; and not adding more divisions of possibilities of solutions; removing the barriers which have separated mankind (one man from another) since the fall from grace. Ever wonder why things have taken a long period of time to change? It's because what the people have been asking God for in their prayers. AT THE REQUEST OF THE PEOPLE, GOD sent LEADERS (the Kings) who did not accomplish what was necessary; sent the Judges who could not accomplish it; sent the prophets who did not fulfill changing the ways of the leaders through condemning them and asking God to remove them; and now it comes to those whose responsibility it has always been. (This is what God has shown me, and what I request in my prayers.)

    Before mentioning whose responsibility it is, let us also ask: how has the educational dichotomy NOT been noticed by the multitude of "educated" and religious spiritual guides that have set themselves up as mankind's mentors? Teach more and more and more (from branches of understanding of The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil), and teach it ALL well, is what the leaders of education, business, and government (and by default - the religions) would have you believe is the path to peace and posterity?! With all the teaching going on, why hasn't peace and posterity happened yet? I am not talking about your own particular industry's, club, organization, professional, religious, ET al, posterity; but the emotional SAFETY AND POSTERITY of individuals (children), those whose lives are in the hands of compromised "educated" individuals.

    Why isn't there an outcry gone TO the leaders or suggestions from the leaders to fix the dichotomy to bring about change? Is Man a species going anywhere soon off this planet en mass, that man should remain continually at war, or at odds in any way, shape, or form with one another without some sort of resolution forthcoming more immediately? How can one honor God under such conditions?

    If the truth ONLY is not taught; why teach anything at all?

    One day has come to a close, the beginning of another starts; and the changing elements have already shown that more changes will be made and made soon. (Have you forgotten that if a Prophet causes rain not to fall someplace, it affects the weather patterns everywhere? And is it just changes in weather patterns that the Prophet may ask for? Consider if a Prophet asks for the eyes of (a king) people to be opened (by God who dwells within that person - know ye not that you are the temple of the Lord?) what else could a prophet ask for and God honor at the same time? Was it not said, "Ask and you shall receive?" (More mentioned later about alleged prophets and why whose writings and teachings fail, except to provide a source of income for themselves.)

    And the beginning of change for mankind will come about as parents love OTHER PARENT'S CHILDREN as much as they love their own children (as much as God loves ALL his children EQUALLY); and this is the responsibility of making disciples of the nation, that you love one another; such that they protect their own children, THROUGH protecting other children; through removing the dichotomy in the educational system of this world. If Parents don't do what they are supposed to do (EVEN CRITIZING AND CHANGING THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM); will anything be accomplished? I contend that this world would look like a much different place if the decisions made in government chambers and corporate boardrooms included consideration of the lives of 'other people's children' in a positive way; and were not based in corporation and investor profits. Where can such a teaching be found in the religious institutions? Why is this absent?

    What exactly turns a sweet loving child who'd share all their possessions and would play unconditionally with one another, into a person who thinks only of themselves; one who may be polluting themselves with all manner compromise, fornication, possessions, and entitlements to the exclusion or harm of others, IF IT NOT SOMETHING IN WHAT THEY LEARNED? Start with these few simple words strung together, seemingly harmless, but deadly as any viper whose venom kills the spirit, "Compete in the world." Where in the word 'compete' is there peace? ALL parents have been conditioned to teach their children that they are going to have to "compete in the world" (a philosophy born out of self-preservation, a philosophy destined to die at the onset of "the commonality of one similar spirit). And all people have been children; even if they have forgotten it. Compete is one word you will not find on the Tree of Life.

    This is what is to be understood in the scripture, that “a child shall lead them.” When you protect the interest of all children (ANY CHILD - AT ANY AGE), it then makes the (example of the) child as doing the leading. In (this) weakness, there is strength. You, the parent must NOT let ANY child learn war AND OTHER THINGS (raise up a child in the way they should go - making them a disciple), to prevent war (and the other things) from being inflicted on them in turn, later. You, the parents will unite if anything is to be accomplished; and not let those who protect their own children, decide what is second best for your child. The first Key: The army of change to come upon the earth is the army of parents who unite under the cause of 'Protecting the lives of ALL children, now and to come.'

    Satan spiritually traversed the planet for millenium, searching for the unaware; where is this teaching in your religious institutes and pews and more importantly to the children that they might avoid being taken captive? The answer to this question is simple: The parents themselves were born in captivity (in a society under the spell of Satan's subtle compromises), and not knowing any better that THEY HAD BEEN TAKEN CAPTIVE, the parents raise up their children believing the principles of existence around them are the norm for a godly existence. This is the lie believe: This (their) existence in the existing conditions is approved by the Lord. And under such a belief, the fallen can't see changing their responsibilities to one another; and that the status quo is acceptable. So they don't say anything to one another about ACTUAL change needed for those they know to be compromised in accordance with their own standards.

    If you would understand anything, it is this: TAKING A STAND TO PROTECT THE LIVES OF CHILDREN, NOW AND TO COME, is the spiritual battle of Armageddon; THE place (of principles) where you will make a stand; and lay down your (selfish as in being a creature in the sea of humanity) life, for the life of the children (God's Children) to come. This is the spiritual battle place mankind will prove itself. Death at Armageddon is not physical (What is physical death, when the Spirit is the intellect of your matter - existence?), but spiritually cutting off the misperceptions Satan has allowed to cover your eyes from the truth. (Remember: crucify (kill) the deeds of the flesh – selfishness (is all about becoming fishers of men, not 'fish following any school of thought). Come up out of the sea (as 'fish), that you might be given wings. When you do these things you will know how you have empowered your children in ways where they will find lasting happiness and joy.

    Presently, what those in the spiritual dimension (the cloud of witnesses - angels, et al) see (Yes, they see and are watching every move of every individual.), and historians of the future looking back on this time would write about is how the leaders (parents), were ignoble in letting the educational dichotomy continue to undermine the wellbeing of the CHILDREN OF GOD. EVERY CHILD IS A CHILD OF GOD. Mankind may have conceived and nurtured the fleshly vessel, but as part of the nature of defined DIVINE events, UPON CONCEPTION the spark of life comes from God's (unalterable) Word of "Let US create Man in our image." This is to say: HIS Spirit is the Child's (your) Spirit. Man has been entrusted to teach CHILDREN this connection to God; and not credit themselves for their existence. This gives the child a position of being honored (and respected) in being created in God's image. I see no such understanding or honor being conveyed unto the children, starting with the educational dichotomy which is allowed to exist.

    Another CLOSER look of why things are not being accomplished: People adopting roles AND TITLES other than “Parent” like CEO, governor, president, ruler; even technical titles as machinist, nurse, writer, even prophet (Is there not to come an end to prophecy?) are so focused on the conditioning they have received regarding the responsibilities of their professions and titles, they see only those things when they walk out the door from home, to go to work; and if they do think of being a parent it is more often first through the eyes of the technical title of their position rather than after. Under the power of this premise, leaders and professionals of every nature don't care about things, except for things which make them leaders and professionals; as can be seen in allowing FAILED systems (political, economic) CONTINUE to rule and dominate this world causing upheaval time and time again; and you should be outraged; but you are NOT!!!! Really; you believe a political move, or a new product, or new jobs, are going to somehow improve life, or establish the Kingdom of God upon the earth????? Have they changed anything to date, yet? Children are the same; requiring the same basic things from parents; examine this carefully and you will know what you need to do for the children and yourselves.

    I mentioned above: Have you even considered what living under the system of skewed IMAGE ONLY concepts entering both eyes and ears, has done to condition you to believe what is acceptable in this world?? Is there more to speak of? SHOULD ANY OF THE FOLLOWING EXIST AS A TRIBUTE (OR RESPECT) TO THE CHILDREN OF GOD?

    Consider: those presently servicing the ways of the mankind’s flawed and compromised ideology, would have you believe that, you can live in a country which purports to call for equality in the entire citizenship (and they implement policy somewhat hesitantly toward that end as if it will accomplish the intended objective); yet you are to live by an economic system that does not serve everyone equally (The leaders never provide or actively pursue any other options to resolve matters)?! How is this to work effectively in solving any problem? Why has there not been an outcry over this additional burdensome dichotomy? How does setting up an organization of any kind, having the corporate structure and the stepped rewards system of this world, resolve any problem? Does it not only continue to teach capitalism and distinctions where none should be?

    AND CONSIDER, is this actually an empathetic group of "educated" leaders? When a group protests something, do the leaders of government, any institute, organization, or government department like education, bother to step up and ask what the groups concern is, or ask how to help them resolve their issue? NO. Higher education gives them nothing in terms of actual empathy, toward those they trample (in order for the already educated to get to and remain at the top). They allow the unrest to continue because they DON'T CARE. They are the "educated"; in positions responsible to serve humanity, yet they WON'T help the group OR CITIZEN formulate the group's or individual's actual understanding of the problem so as to work toward a mutual resolution. Resolution only comes with a monetary price tag; if ever at all. And why the complete lack of empathy; or turning the group or individual away to follow some process path which the leaders (in being educated and having put the process into place) themselves, know won't actually lead to a FINAL resolution of the concern? Leaders have only their parents to thank for allowing them to learn the ways of indifference toward the needs of others or actual resolution of matters. Did I not mention the need to love other parents' children as much as your own? There is often more empathy for the abuse of animals, and a shutting down of the spirit when it comes to caring enough to understand that someone somewhere is exploiting a child who is defenseless. This is human rational? Leaders will spend more media time resolving animal abuse than resolving exploitation that kills the human spirit, which affects society as a whole.

    Are there other areas of flawed methodology or ideology? When a person becomes sick or injured, (maybe even through no fault of their own) society adds the burden of requiring payment to be restored back to health - this is adding burden upon a burden; and not a step in the right direction for society to treat all with respect; but this callousness is treated as normal. How can such a process be considered "educationally" enlightenment and sensitive to other's needs? And there are a multitude of other compromises undermining principles of cohesiveness.

    Ideas are treated like the criminals within the (U.S.) justice system – innocent (safe) until proven guilty (harmful); and like the justice system, with the justice system unable to improve the individual so they don’t commit the crime to begin with; so what is the point of a justice system which only deals with after-the-fact; AND LIKEWISE an idea that proves itself harmful in the long run, because it wasn’t fully tested to begin with before implementing? Additionally, your business leaders put imprints of products before your eyes; products they themselves have not fully tested. They are interested only in how quickly they can produce the item, that an imprint of a profit reaches their eyes (that which empowers them to lust), and so too they covet the mental reward which satisfies their lust for the other products their counterparts produce.

    And as for division upon divisions: Few people equate the thought of divisions with intellectual teachings of their beliefs, lacking understanding that the simple misplaced perception like Adam and Eve had, are much like the round-about arguments which take place in forums and in daily lives; and is exactly what Satan enjoys seeing happen, Even the spiritually blessed have become entangled in moot points; and ideological practices that don’t satisfy because nobody can agree upon the ONLY ones; hence the religious factions observed from the heavens today. Mankind, in being created in God's invisible character image, was not created to handle competition in business, to be at odds with one another; just as God cannot be at odds with Himself, man cannot be at odds with himself; but here mankind is.

    Adam and Eve had only knowledge, regard, and a relationship with God, until the error in judgment. Even Adam and Eve, two people, were NOT divided against themselves (or each other). Satan knew this; and corrupted them; and Satan himself, in being created in God’s (invisible) image (as is mankind) knew where and how far divisions of any nature would take people further and further away from God…even into derisive religion which cannot appease God. You likewise were created in God’s image, and you demean yourself when you let the likes of Satan (also an unseen spiritual image who has NO MORE power than you), rule in principles over you; spiritually confusing you day in, day out. And this in light of it being said "Resist the devil and he will flee."

    Gather you shall in these days; or does it take your children doing it, for it to get done? It will NOT be the next generation to shoulder the burdens (ways) of their parents; it will begin NOW with you speaking the truth of the educational dichotomy; and how learning actually takes place.

    Talk to one another about the actual needs of the children; just as God considers your needs as His children. And He has only established that forgiveness is KEY, to taking the next step. You are forgiven; but it does not negate your responsibilities given your position; and by your position, and your judgments upon others, YOU will be judged.

    And, if you would be discerning of these times, consider this: How much God's WORD means to God; it is EVERYTHING.

    Again, if the truth ONLY is not taught; why teach anything at all?

    A question you may wish to ask the prophets who speak; yet they do not condemn a matter nor provide actual edification; only making guesses; failing to listen to and understand the mind of God to do bring someone to accountability, developing a following just as blind as they, whom they lead to destruction in a false premise.

    This is one question: What is the likelihood that Satan is so stupid so as set up himself up in his kingdom on earth making it visible to people thus beginning the events of his own downfall? It is someone else who begins the events: Of one beast it was said “Who is like the beast and who can wage war with HIM?” Of Satan it was said "Resist the devil and he will flee." Can these two, be the same one? No.

    Of 666, it is nothing more than the number of Words describing UNGODLY CHARACTERISTICS (anti-Christ words), which God has assigned to Satan, like lewd, liar, heinous, compromised, fornicator, evil, vile, loathsome, slothful, manipulative, philanderer, gossip, deceptive, withholding of the truth, and so on. (God does not think of Satan as anything more than Satan, and neither should mankind.) Any person (parent and children) committing acts of these nature - having one, ten, 537 or any number of the same character qualities - is as having the (one or more of the) names (Are not names, WORDS?) and number of the beast; and are as numbered along with Satan, even if they don't have all of the 666 which Satan has. Is it not written that the 144,000 have a name (word) written upon them? WORDS of God's and your spiritual (likeness) characteristics are love, honor, respect, truth, compassion, above, as qualities YOU POSSESS in being created in God's (invisible) image.

    Therefore, you are numbered and named one way or another. And consider: if the average person has only 3000 thoughts a day consisting of WORDS, how many of those thoughts (WORDS) are spent honoring God for your wisdom and understanding of the truths written here or elsewhere?

    You self-serving prophets act as if you have no responsibility in the heinous things which have come to dwell in the hearts of men; and read of a matter and go back to sleep waiting for change to take place on it’s own, without realizing that if it doesn’t take place in you, it isn’t taking place. Consider you profess to know Christ, knowing and trusting that you are created in His image; and yet you remain ineffective in accomplishing responsibility: making disciples OF the nations. And how many have sat in the pews and heard and yet did nothing to discover and bring the leaders of misery to accountability that the children would not be compromised as you had been. That brings judgment upon you – indifference and inaction to some things; and the attention and actions you commit to other things less savory and less wholesome.

    I know I speak as a beast; but at the least, I speak to change matters, whereas you have not; and all this in light that you have taken greater position, MORE VOICE, than I, in this world. You have become complacent in comforts heaped upon you, and those you have gathered for yourself. You are distracted by the rhetoric of simply having a job that looks more important than it actually accomplishes in resolving a social woe.

    Today is the 6th Day of the Creation, the Day of Restoration of mankind to God. You will make amends as is implied and stated above and resolve the issues as indicated above. And to start you will pass this message on to others; leaving my signature upon it as author.

    You will also use your voice to God’s glory in this matter; using these words of education written here to convey a message of change to others as I am doing, so that you will not be alone in seeing change come about. Many will get their hands dirty cleaning up the filth of this ungodly world; better is it to clean up with the hands; rather than to pollute with the mind and spirit. The time is now. Blessed are those who die in the Lord right now, for their deeds (what you do now; AND DON'T DO NOW) follow (judge in the end) them.

    You have been given words of Prophesy; use them, that there may come an end to Prophesy.

    Observe: The wheels of heaven and earth have been set into motion - you test (judge) yourself, by not involving yourself in communicating the truth of these things onto others; and your part will be removed from you and given to others who will acknowledge the truth, and work toward that end. And you will begin doing these things NOW, to fulfill prophesy. You should know and understand this: Names CAN BE (and will be) REMOVED FROM THE BOOK OF LIFE – Revelation 3:5.

    Take the Common Purpose Key called Equity, and remove and LOCK AWAY from humanity, EVERYTHING that does NOT serve EVERY child equitably; and you will see the side of the door you are standing on leads to and comes from heaven. Remove these things from your presence and in doing so you will see the Tree of Life become visible (understandable) before you.

    Narrow is the way.

    Now, why would you wonder or want to know more about the person who wrote these words, rather than closely examine the information contained within? Because you have come to value more a look at a person; rather than to understand that their unseen image, the words they use, is as being more important. You have been conditioned to look for entertainment in visual appeal; no matter. But, about those words you have come to consider; it does not matter if you believe these words written; you will believe, soon enough.

    When it comes to understanding ANY MATTER WHICH COMES BEFORE YOU - in anything you read, see or hear, please consider this observation. RIGHT NOW, what you have been seeing with your eyes, is nothing more than a reflected image (the computer screen or even if you are reading a physical hardcopy), caused by light waves reflecting off the item, making an imprint within your eye, an imprint which is being converted into a neural signal traveling to your spirit, where you as an unseen energy form (housed within the physical structure you call your body), is processing the signal. Is there actual intelligence, or wisdom, or insight in what you are seeing? ONLY YOU CAN DETERMINE THIS. Not even the person writing the words can tell you if there are those things in this writing, or any writing. And is the writing designed to serve EVERYBODY EQUITABLY?

    It is not hard to explain these things to a child. Consider telling them what is actually happening: Your eye, ears, stomach are not processing the information signal; your throat is not processing the information signal; nor any extremity of the body; all the processing is being done in a specially designed core place within your body behind the eyes and ears. I say this because too often people (children in particular) act and respond in such a way so as treat their eyes and ears as if they are the intellectual processors; this is to say, they believe what comes into their eyes and ears and what those signals (at those points) are telling them, without letting the information go all they way to the core; and let the core be empowered to do the processing. So basically right now, nothing but a logic based reflected FLAT light reflected surface imprint (much like an image represented in a mirror) consisting of colored shapes are entering your receptors right NOW (and all the time).

    You are placing values (even emotional values) on the INANIMATE, UNFEELING, UNCARING information based on the values you were told the item had - based on the perceptions of your parents, teachers, or peers what they told you they were - whether or not they were the whole truth, or even the actual truth. This exchange of information, (for basically unseen entities - i.e. energy forms housed within physical constructs designed to move them around in this world; which is the actual construct of a human being - being the invisible [just as God is invisible, and without a physical body unless determined necessary] core spirit behind the eyes) has been taking place for thousands of years in the same manner - each entity assigning a value given to information by the previous generation; OR assigning their own value to the imprints entering the eyes, or to the air molecules vibrating on the ears.

    Since reflected light waves and vibrating air molecules themselves have no ability to determine what is wisdom and what is not, nor assign or change a value to something before it gets to the person receiving the information signal; the person receiving the signals coming into their eyes or ears assigns a value based on their what??? Where does the power to reason, the ability to understanding, and the determination of accuracy of the information come from? People (children) place a value on an item, based on whether or not they want the body's eye or ear value of it, or (if guided properly) their true spirit's value of the information. An example of a guide would be: "The information that is entering a child's eyes and ears - not everything that looks good or sounds good, is good for them." And if the spirit is empowered (is guided) to be true with such statements, the ability to value and make judgments accurately stays with them. This is the place to begin to teach children about how they learn; it's when they want to place a value on something everyone knows is going to be the best for themselves and everyone else in society. Parents are to teach this to their children before they are introduced to other things in the world; just as other species do not release their offspring into the world, before they are ready to accept the responsibilities of discernment of their surroundings to survive.

    Additionally, AS EVERYTHING ENTERING THE EYES AND EARS IS A REFLECTION OR INTERPRETATION FROM ANOTHER SOURCE which may or may not be accurate - you should NOT get emotional (place an emotional value on) over matters; i.e., matters being the information signals others present, without being sure OF your own ability to accurately interpret who and what they are, and where another individual might be living within their body when presenting their value. Are they believing (living by) what comes in the eye and reflecting that information; are they believing (living by) what comes in the ear and reflecting that information, or are they believing what comes all the way to the spirit and is REASONED ACCURATELY BY the spirit and reflecting that information? And you yourself may be just assigning a value to what they say, you yourself took from your own eye or ear, and not fully reasoned within your spirit.

    This is what is known as "Discerning the spirits." If you are satisfied with this truthfulness, then you may discern the accuracy in what anybody says and ends up coming into your ears, or in what anybody puts in front of you and what you take in with your eyes. This is a truth which will help the children you are attempting to help, in their understanding of matters.

    But again, as this writing is as simply being a reflected image coming into your eyes, what does an image know about what is and what isn't; or how communication is actually taking place between two or more when they come together? Where two are in my name, there also am I (in the spirit of understanding, recognition, and agreement).

    When you consider, everything is described by words (this means down to the most minute concept of your physical and spiritual composition), even the vibrations of musical pitches, one can begin to see a person is nothing more than an entity which adjusts the words (word values) of himself or herself to fit the circumstances, OR finds the truth and lives by those words. Why do you think God emphasized Christ as His WORD?

    I said the same thing to one of our doctors last night while sitting next to him in the latrine. As for odious dichotomy, ole Doc gave me a salve for that. Kindly notice that my post was a response to the nice lady who made the original statement; or agreed with someone else.
    I certainly appreciate your "jumping in" but my complaint is something a man rarely hears: It's too long. If I was stoned, I would have read the first paragraph and still wouldn't have a clue.
