Whether it is a coincidnece or not I don't know. But every year during flu season I cut onions in half and put a half in each room of the house. Replace the onion halves once every 3-4 days.
I have done this every year since 1975 when my grandmother told me about it. The result has been that the family has fewer colds and fewer Flu like symtoms.
I am really not kidding. It sounds just as probable as the condom in the bowl of water, but it does seem to work.
