"How To Make Money Selling Drugs" documents the drug war and features Woody Harrelson, Adrian Grenier, 50 Cent, and Eminem. The documentary, written and directed by Matthew Cooke, talks about the broken dream in America and how selling drugs provides a 'get rich quick' scheme for many.

The AMC series "Breaking Bad" features a chemistry teacher that turns to selling illegal drugs (methamphetamine) to support his family when he gets diagnosed with terminal cancer. The character, Walter White, encounters extreme difficulties with the law and organized crime to make and sell the drugs. However, if legalized, Mr. White could make a lot of money as an elite chemist without the inherent dangers in trafficking narcotics.

Below is the trailer from the documentary "How To Make Money Selling Drugs." Do you think you would sell drugs if it were legal?

THEAGITATOR.COM reports:
I helped out a bit with this movie. I also give some commentary for about 20 seconds of it. It's a really creative way to look at the drug war.

Why? You would need to be a pharmacist, but with a little education you could do it...

See, no one thought about that, did they? If drugs were legal...well, many already are, lol...at the pharmacy...and that's where drugs would and should be sold...

That is not what Fef was talking about. I would not want to be responsible for passing out drug of any kind.

Would it be any different working at 7-11 selling beer and cigarettes? Or at a gun store selling guns and ammo? Or at an auto dealership selling cars?

They all kill and destroy lives...and they are all legal. So what's the difference? Really?

NOTE: And I'm not trying to be difficult...it just seems to me that everyone saying no is saying no because in their minds they are still associating the drugs with an illegality, but the questions was IF THEY WERE LEGAL...would you sell them?

The answer should be yes, if they are legal, and you can buy whatever you want to if it's legal to do so, and if you are selling them, there is no legal problem so what is the difference between selling a legal pack of tobacco product or a legal pack of marijuana product?

Oh I get you point. I would not like to sell beer as well.

But you do make some good points.

Alcohol is legal but I don't sell that either. Too many have died because of drugs, legalizing it will only make it worse for future generations.

there would not be as much money in it as there is now...

no its not... take the profit motive out and the criminals go somewhere else.

they will lose interest quickly and be replaced with honest businessmen who want to operate a legitimate shop.

as was the case with the repeal of prohibition.

Not true. Legalizing it would only give control to the government to sell it and a true drug war would ensue because the government would not tolerate competition from the street sellers.

    what?

does the government control your liquor store? your 7/11? your groceries store?

that's insane what you just said.

The liquor stores are state run and controlled here. Remember when running numbers was an illegal activity? Now look who has gotten into the game with lotteries?

The government doesn't like competition so would have complete control over the selling of all drugs.

Selling legal drugs would be too much hassle for too little money. Legalization would either bring the price down or incur government price controls. The profit margin would not be what exists today with illegal drugs. Which, incidentally, I don't sell.

Aside from the fact that it's a business that wouldn't interest me, it wouldn't be all that profitable if it were legal. The high profit margins are due to the risk involved in distributing it. The two groups who benefit from making popular drugs illegal are the government (especially law enforcement) and the drug dealers. Neither group is willing to lose the benefits they receive from the laws prohibiting popular drugs. Even if legislators could be convinced by common sense to legalize drugs, the drug dealers wouldn't let them get away with it. But legislators don't care about how the drug war does a lot more harm than drug addiction could ever harm. They aren't about to go against their self interest for the good of society.

Selling illegal drugs has more to do with the morality or lack or morality of the seller and those who condone those type of actions then justifying it by economics

Morality what a load of crap. I am an educated adult. I can make my own decisions and I can put whatever I want into my own body as I am not hurting anyone else in any way.

Of course not. I would give it to my kid if they wanted it. But I would draw the line at crack or meth as I have said before.
