"How To Make Money Selling Drugs" documents the drug war and features Woody Harrelson, Adrian Grenier, 50 Cent, and Eminem. The documentary, written and directed by Matthew Cooke, talks about the broken dream in America and how selling drugs provides a 'get rich quick' scheme for many.

The AMC series "Breaking Bad" features a chemistry teacher that turns to selling illegal drugs (methamphetamine) to support his family when he gets diagnosed with terminal cancer. The character, Walter White, encounters extreme difficulties with the law and organized crime to make and sell the drugs. However, if legalized, Mr. White could make a lot of money as an elite chemist without the inherent dangers in trafficking narcotics.

Below is the trailer from the documentary "How To Make Money Selling Drugs." Do you think you would sell drugs if it were legal?

THEAGITATOR.COM reports:
I helped out a bit with this movie. I also give some commentary for about 20 seconds of it. It's a really creative way to look at the drug war.

No, but that is a personal choice outside the question of drugs as such. I do not think I would even get in the, sex, bar and tobacco trades either, again, personal choices as opposed to moral or ethical. I just do not go for any of these listed trades.

If it is legal and I had no other gainful employment options, just possibly I would sell various products I do not care for, or maybe work in the trade in some fashion.

As with so many things, just cuz it's legal, don't make it right. If selling drugs was legal though, drug cartels would eventually vanish. The drug pushers of today wouldn't be able to enslave our youth, would have no reason to fight and kill over territory, Innocent lives would be saved & yes, unfortunately lost, but if you consider one of the most dangerous LEGAL drugs (Alcohol) far more people die through consumption than through the acts of those consuming. There will always be "collateral damage" whether or not drugs/selling drugs is or is not legal. Same can be said for so any other legal/illegal issues. For example, it's LEGAL for hate filled religious zelots to spout their ignorance at funerals of soldiers who died fighting for their rights. Imagine that being illegal. As horrible as I think they are, I have to support their right to do so. Otherwise, we would all be left without the freedom to voice our opinions. Will innocent lives be lost? Of course. Would I sell drugs if legal? Absolutely not!

I see no reason to change anything in my life. I think it would still be a risky business although very lucrative. Most likely less so than illegal on both counts. I just have better ways to spend my life.

Silly question really. What sort of private citizen would want/try to compete with Walgreens, Walmart, and CVS?

The day they become legal is the day the drug-dealers, pushers, and even many pimps are out of business.

I wouldn't sell drugs, for the same reason I don't sell used cars, or pipe fittings, or vacations in the south of France. Selling' ain't my strong suit.

Wow, when will people learn that you can't legislate morality? I have FREELY CHOSEN not to include drugs and alcohol in my life. The stupid "this is your brain- this is your brain on drugs" campaign didn't do it for me, "Just Say No" didn't sway me and no piece of Legislation has influenced my choice. What rubbish.

    LIBERTY!

If drugs become legal tomorrow, I could care less. I won't smoke or shoot up just because some talentless hack of a politician now says it's OK for me to do so. Everyone who fears this is either misinformed, ignorant to human behavior or is a mental midget. How did that 18th Amendment work out for you Government interventionists? GREAT, if organized crime and murder and rebellion was your goal. I say make everything legal and treat it like alcohol- you can't drive under the influence or appear in public or at work high/stoned.

Cops die trying to intervene on drug smugglers so some idiot can smoke a doob and have a Twinkie in his Mom's basement. Does that seem right? Of course not. "But... but... somebody will OD!" They already are. Whether it is legal or not, you can't keep stupid people from making stupid choices. It's what they do.

I have had way, way, way, too many friends die, because of drugs. Just last year, a very good friend died, & I was lauphing & talking with him, the day before. Look at the famous peaple through history, that have died from drugs. No matter how much money is in it, I just will not , ever, sell drugs. Don't take them, won't sell them, & try my hardeest to talk peaple out of useing them . It's the 2nd. killer, after alcahol , & cigerettes. Drugs, DO kill.

Guns, Alcohol, Cars, Food, Drugs, they're all products that when in responsible hands have great benefits, and when abused can be very harmful, you can't predict the mental capacities of the consumer, and to this day, retailers aren't responsible for psychoanalyzing the end users before the sale...... read the headline stories nowadays

What a stupid question. If it were legal there would not be any money in selling it! The drugstore would sell methamphetamine for pennies like a pill just like Sudafed cold medicine. Nobody ever gets shot over cold medicine. The crime, (and tainted money), would all be gone if drugs were made legal.

I am a philanthropist, and know anything in moderation or for medical use is okay. I would not sell to those abusing it, and insure my product is consistent. I would interview my clients to judge their character to determine who I do business with. I do not wish to hurt anyone, only to care for those who are kind and in need.

I would not want to feel responsible for someone who od'd and died from drugs I sold them. There will be many vendors competing for business and I don't feel the need to be one of them..
