How to lose thigh fat?

Jennifer 2012/05/17 22:47:13
My daughter is 13 about 5ft. 3in. and 110 lbs. I think she looks beautiful bit she thinks differently. You see, she barely has any muscle so it's practically all fat. Right now she's trying to lose weight and get more muscle. Expecially in her stomach and thighs. She is also VERY PICKY! She likes a lot of fruit it's the vegetables, she only likes things like potatoes and corn. She's really trying to firm up her thighs so any suggestions would be great! Thank you!!

Bike riding and running are good ways to shed fat and build muscle. She should also try dance conditioning classes. I take them for ballet training and it works extensively on the thigh and the inner thigh.

Two things that I always found helpful. Walk all you can and dance like a diva.

dancing is a fun way to help thighs get more firm and not crazy muscley like some of those scary girls that just work out all the time O_O plus it's a fun and positive thing to get into if you do the right things. she does need to work on veggies, fruits have natural sugar, also eating chicken and fish help too with portion control
ps: for her, she doesn't need to lose weight, just toning up.

you're welcome! she could try maybe getting into a ballet class or hip hop depending on her personality. some people give a free first lesson before signing up or she could do zumba i've done that, it's fun i got into so many new songs and the dances help tone up and they are nice!

I think gaining muscle actually (perhaps ironically) makes you gain weight. Diet and exercise is the simple answer to most weight woes. Young girls are often very body conscious so if she looks beautiful then let her know.
