I remember listening out the door of my bedroom for my mom to pull open the utensil drawer and grab the spatula or the wooden spoon. Thats when I knew I was getting it. LOL - Oh childhood memories. haha

My last spanking was when I was 11. The worst spanking, ahem, WHOOPIN, was when I was in 1st grade. I played hookie because I got accused of doing something I didn't do. I got my ass tore up for lying to the daycare and my parents, but not for what that witch teacher accused me of. I had welts on my legs for a couple of days. That was back in the 70s when people could discipline their kids without some pansyass interfering. And no, I do not resent my parents for spanking me.

Damn... I never had welts... I guess things were mellowing down by the 80's.... That's crazy though. Thanks for sharing. Just curious.... what did they use that left welts?

a belt. lol

nevertheless, I have never been able to use a belt, or my hands, on my own kids. just a hard plastic spoon, and a set amount of licks.

I know I got some pretty bad ones, but I can't remember them specifically. But I'm still leery of plain wooden spoons (a.k.a. No-No Spoons...) I remember a spanking my brother got though. He cut the tags off of some of my Beanie Babies and got WHOOPED.

My dad would use his belt, I don't ever remember getting spanked by my mom. The last time I was spanked was probably when I was probably 10. I was a good kid because I didn't want to get spanked lol. Wow, it is funny thinking of these things.
