That's a fair question and I can imagine there will be a huge array of answers. I'll have to check them all out. I don't know what would be considered "old age." I've seen people at age 40 who look like they're ready to croak any minute and then I see a 90-year-old woman delivering Meals on Wheels and doing all kinds of things that would wear me out. Me? I'll be happy to make it to about 80 without major, major health problems. I expect to slow down, expect to lose interest in things like riding roller coasters or hiking 20 miles up mountains, etc., but I don't want to become an invalid. Yuck. Sorry I started to answer this question..... Oh, well......

Some people have died of old age sitting as a useless lump watching their boob tube. They are breathing but accomplish nothing more than a corpse in their coffin...

if you died naturally. not of sickness or something causing you to die. if that happens you would die of old age.... well makes sense to mee...

The actual age has little to do with it. There are age related problems that can and will cause death that can show up almost any time after your mid 60's. Life style however will determine what age that really end's up being.

No age, just have to die for no discernible reason and be older than 70.

Nobody "dies" of old age. They just get tired of living.

I had a job transferring assets of deceased persons. About 1/3 of death certificates stated natural causes. Is medical science trying to find a cure for that?

That's a good question...but I don't think they classify someones death as "old age" anymore...I think it's called "natural causes" now.

No one dies of "old age". Something gives out. With Jack LaLanne for example, it was his immune system.
