I don't know of any really good bakeries around here... I end up using the grocery store bakery... but even that , seldom.

I try to stay away from them. : ) Just kidding! Around here, the only bakeries are the commercialized ones at the grocery stores. I miss the one that was family-owned in the town we grew up in. Years later I worked with the son of the owner and we traded memories about the bakery. The last time I went to a real bakery was in New York City.
