My dad works too late and my mom doesn't cook like she used to. My brothers are pretty hopeless in the kitchen/too lazy to make anything, so I usually end up making dinner several times a week.

My Mother is 93, and she likes to eat, but she doesn't feel like cooking, so I cook every week so that she'll have a good meal on Sunday, and she has enough to last her for 2-3 days. Micro wave does not count, I am a old fashion conventional cook, and everything is cooked from scratch.

Watching Peaceable Kingdom, the journey home helps. It's like witnessing 'animal Auschwitz'. Really. I never ate much meet before I met my husband but he's been a steak eater so this will be more of a change for him?

A lot. With food allergies I learned to cook so I knew what I'm allergic to goes into what kind of food, And so I can cook for myself if I need to.

Not when you have a huge mix: Near-Lethal egg allergies, pretty bad but not Really dangerous wheat allergies, Bad dairy allergies, and somewhat moderate Soy allergies. While I get to indulge in more fruit, sugar, and meat, I must get my other nutrients from pills. That coupled with some allergies to...Well, I'm allergic to nature pretty much.
