obviously it should depend on the people and how much time they want to spend together... but what do you believe is a good amount of time, so that you can be together - without driving each other crazy?

...as much time is left after keeping a certain amount of time to yourself to grow and thrive as an individual. You should not spend so much time with the other person that you become part of that other person...because there's a 50/50 chance that you will break up and you will not know how to function as an individual.

As little as you can while still enough to feel connected incrementally. Unfortunately for me my natural rhythm for being around others comes more cyclically.

It does totally depend on the two people involved; I know some people where 24/7 seems to work fine for them, and others where once a week drives them nuts. I do think that once a year is a bit too rarely as you can't really call that a relationship...What happen to once a month?

There's not a set amount of time. Everyone is DIFFERENT.

As much or as little as they want. As long as both partners are satisfied with the amount of time spend together.

It depends on the relationship. When I met my husband, we were going to the same school, so I saw him there, I got him a job with me, and I was his ride, so we worked the same shifts, and I spent every weekend with him. Then, when I moved down the street from him, I saw even more of him.

Now, 7 years later in a shitty economy, we are both out of work, so I see him all day everyday. And I am fine with that. We are friends first, lovers second.

That is the secret. Be friends first, then move one to a closer relationship.

I've been spending about half of the day (everyday) with him for the past year. I'm still not tired of him lol.
