$3 - $4 seems about right, depending on the size of the order. I generally tip 20% in restaurants, and think the same applies to deliveries.

as a former driver. 3 to 4 dollars is decent. For most, just average. No driver is gonna hate you for that. BUT if you really want great service the next time, tip 5 or more...you have your pizza at your house so fast it is still steaming...

same tip rules apply with all %15 of an order is a tip, anything more is very generous, and I'm always extra thankful and deliver to houses I know tip well before I deliver to any others, It's not so much the money as it is the Idea. People that timp more than %15 acknowledge that I'm doing something, that bringing the pizza's actually cost me money if people don'[t tip some times, I'll always make sure they get their stuff fresh.

If I know a house doesn't tip, you better believe I'm going to take care of the people that treat me better before I deliver theirs.

I give $2-4 dollars above the delivery fee plus the change from the cost of the order. I do not penalize the delivery drivers for slow service, it's not always their fault. My hsuband delivers pizza on the weekends and they get so busy soemtimes it doesn't even get into the oven for an hour.

If it's delivered in a timely fashion, I'd say 15-20% since these guys have to drive their own cars. But if there an hour later than they told you they would be there, screw 'em!

Sometimes the driver can't help being late. It mostly is the pizza place that MAKES the driver late unless the driver just wants to be late. We have one driver that goes and gets scratch offs after every delivery. Thus making himself slow.

Well, if they know they're going to be behind the normal time, they need to tell the customer that beforehand.

The driver is not the one who is on the phone. The driver is not assigned the delivery until it is ready, they have no idea that they will be delivering your pizza.

I used to do this as a side job, because I don't sleep much. I would get about $2-$3 on an average. When I order, I eat alot also, My order usually comes to about $40 +, so I give about $6-$8 depending on my money on hand.

Well, they do deserve it. Maybe they payed you like $3.50 an hour, but you need the money. So if somebody needs the money desperatly, I'll tip him like $10.00.

With the price of gas, and the maintaince on the vehicle. Yes delivery drivers rely on the tips. I am being paid $6.00 an hour. That DON'T include the tips.

I always had treats for customers dogs and people loved it. It depends on how far you have them drive, the neighborhood you live in and other factors. Some customers I would be happy to get a buck, others were jerks if they tipped 4 or 5.

AT LEAST $2 (well, my pizzas are usually $20 or less). If it's bad weather, definitely more. And I'm in the Midwest, so in the winter I tip closer to $5. It's bleepin' COLD out there, which is why *I* didn't go out--!

    Overall, it's a great service!!

I always tip depending on the time of day, weather, etc. Basically if I want someone to bring me food in the middle of a thunderstorm it deserves more than the typical 15%.

I usually tip 10 % So if the pizza is $18.50 that would be $1.85 rounded off that would be about $2.00 --Most often I usually go and pick-up my pizza myself.

Depends also on the service. But I usually add a couple bucks for gas if they don't take it upon themselves to add to the bill.

As a rule I always tip at least 10 percent of the amount the pizza cost than add more for the delivery service. Right now I can honestly say the when the pizza arrives it is good and hot and they get it here within the specified time they tell me.

Usually I tip $3-$5 unless it took way too long then they will only get $1.
