How much money do beggars make?

There are A LOT of bums int the area that I live in and i was just curious, I hear that people can make a good amount panhandling and was kinda wondering if you can make more money begging than you make from a minimum wage job! rich bum

Too much. Either way, this is why I don't give them money. I'd give someone food if they asked for it.

I know that my daughter makes a hell-of-a-log more by begging from me than if she had a minimum wage job.

According to a 60 Minutes investigation in Manhattan, those folks were making out like freaking bandits. But that was pre-2008 I believe.
