i read the guidebook twice and took trails in open yard frequently . One of my friend took mock test too . That helped me to get thorough on first attempt

although it was a jolting experience. the massachusetts state trooper grading the test told me i had failed miserably, to get lost. i told him there was no way i missed more than 2 questions. he double checked and found he had used the wrong oversheet to check the test.

I got it on the second try. The parallel parking messed me up the first time because I let my nerves get the best of me. :/ Just try again, you'll get it! :)

The first time I parallel parked was during my test. I was born under a luck star I guess. ^-^

One up and done , in a 32.000 lb crane truck, the officer was more scared than I was (I was <16 by 1 day).

It scares me when I see someone who barely speaks English failing for the 5th time, knowing they will eventually pass somehow... no wonder the roads are so dangerous.

It was a breeze. I had been driving on my grandparents' farm for at least a year anyway so I had practice. I think I missed one written question about a sign. Not too many of those on the farm!

Well, I lied, I tried three times and failed three times. Then I quit because lots of things were going on at once. Especially after I drove perfectly and still failed (they couldn't quite explain why) I just got really angry and I didn't want to drive anymore.

I aced the written test but I failed to get a "clip boards" distance from the curb during parallel parking so they failed me on the driving portion my first try

Passed the first time, written test for learners at 15, and the Driving school just before I turned 16.

But I started driving at about 7 years old. 5 if you count Golf Carts.

Benefits of having large properties in the family. My Grandma started taking me out to practice in an old car she had.

Had a friend that took the written test 8 times before he passed.

Knew the materials, but he couldn't take tests to same his life, and choked every time.

My friend's brother took the written test 7 times before he passed but the first 6 times, he didn't even read the book. The written test costs $5. The permit costs $23.50. The drive test costs $9 and the license costs $60 here. I passed Driver's Ed about a month before I turned 16. On my final drive for Driver's Ed., I got a 94% but I guess that was because I wasn't nervous. I was nervous on my drive test for my license. I'm going to pass next time though.
