Have never been engaged but came close to popping the question twice. Looking back , the first time , I'm glad I didn't. The second was a good woman. She took a job on the west coast. Sometimes , I wonder if , maybe , I should have followed. But , I had my own career and life to follow. Such is life.
I was engaged once and married, then divorced. The next time around we just decided to get married and we did, no engagement period. Still going 33 yrs later.
Once. Married once. Still married
