Depends how close together.. and why.. casue sometimes i forget bits and need to correct bits so i can send 4 that could have all been one message. and when i'm going to my boyfriends house and he has no credit, i text him when i'm awake, when i leave, when i am half way and when i'm ten minuted away and he doesn't reply to any.. but i need to text him so he 1)wakes up and 2)knows what stage of being ready he should be lol. so that is fine but if its obvious the person just doesn't want to talk to you.. I think 3..

I would say two to three. Sometimes even if I text once and the time in between a text back gives me an idea depending on the person/circumstances.

Depends on why you're sending the texts...but generally I'd say three. Any more than that is very annoying.
