How many people have had to change their entire appearance just to get a job?

Just wondering. I am moving up in the hierarchy at my employment, and I was told I must look more "professional". Not much of an issue with me, but for others . . . who knows?

BTW: It's tourism. Go figure.

You've gotta dress in an appropriate way if you wanna get on........ purple suits & face-paint just arent right everywhere :(

It really is....... personally, I cant think of any situation that couldn’t be improved with an appropriate application of face paint :)

I have...i am still a tomboy at heart. jeans shirt sneakers good to go, but in order for people to take me seriously and view and listen to me as an ADULT i had to start looking like one. too many times people mistook me for being 17 when i am really 28. so dress the part when it calls for it and be professional
