How many pairs of shoes do you own?

Consumer Reports Research Center states that women own an average of 19 pairs of shoes. It is my opinion that the statistic is too low. I have 80 pairs – 10 piars of them are sandles, 3 pairs sno... I have 80 pairs – 10 piars of them are sandles, 3 pairs snow boots, 3 heels, the rest are causal and sports.

My partner, he has three pairs sneakers, one pair of loafers, one fishing boot, one western.


According to Ed Jetpacking Headbanger, the average woman in the USA owns 27 pairs of shoes. (more)

    BUt I have at least 5 pairs each of:

    high heels (rarely worn)
    plimsolls (a UK version of sneaker)
    boots
    sandals
    other shoes

    I have atleast 80 pairs and always adding to the collection and donating one's I don't want anymore. Most are pumps, I LOVE PUMPS! I just got a cute pair of BCBG black gladiator sandals with a heel. SOOOO CUTE!

    I own ten or less pairs of shoes.

    I don't have many shoes. Just the ones nessisary for me. a couple pairs of flip flops, two pairs of sneakers, a pair of dress shoes, and I think I have two or three pairs of wedges.

    You're not even old enough to even remember Michael Jordan back in the day. MJ is making millions upon millions on people buying his shoes. Why don't some of you smart young people flip the script? Create something for yourself. Wearing name brand shoes isn't the MOST important thing. And I'm not knocking you for purchasing them because I have some Jordans too. BUT, I'm older and know the importance of investing, saving, and education.

    I hope the same applies to you. Maybe one day, I can purchase a shoe by "Easy E." :)

    I lived in central Washington state during the early 90's, and went to Seattle every other weekend. They had a great music scene there then with free concerts in city parks and restaurants/pubs. I actually WENT to a free NIRVANA performance and was in F'n LOVE!! Grunge was BIG... hence the BUTT UGLY shoe fetish. Google shoes from the 1990's and you will see what I mean.     That is him. lol I saw Courtney Love in LA in December of the year Kurt Cobain died. It was at the Dolls Christmas concert. I like his music a lot.
