I mostof the time works for myself . owner operator drove a truck on the road . then I work for a company in then I got disabled so I never really lost job . I do understand know how I can happen .expecially with what's going on in the economy and that's not blaming obama . president obama has done all he can ,it's the republicans holding up on the jobs . so if you blame anybody blame the republicans !!
2, after working for 7 1/2 years the owner found out I was living with the manager (who I ended up marring) so they made the manager fire me because we were together. The second one was a temp job that came to an end.
I've lost jobs and quit jobs many, many times in my life. In the last 10 years I've lost 1 and quit 2. The job I'm working right now I'll lose probably in August.
The worst kick I ever got was when there was an outside evaluation of our department, and the report said that only one person was a success at the goals and directions of the department--me. That promptly made me enemy #1 for all the rest, who were mediocre, petty, and had seniority over me. I lost everything after that. Petty stupid inadequate affluent white people, you can't trust 'em!
3. All when I was a kid. 2 from supermarkets because they were downsizing. And I was the low man on the totem pole. and one from McDonald's for cursing out the manager.

I was lay ed off once. Job cuts, position eliminated, offered other positions and I turned them down. Never been fired. Quit some. I've work more then 14 years at two of my jobs. Currently been 6 years with current employer.
Close to ten layoffs during my working years. Even my last job for the Federal Government would have been a layoff if I had not retired.I could write a list but no sense boring people.
