How Long Do You Go Without Showering?

If you're working in an office, I say showering every day is a must (even if it's the night before). I've worked among some pretty smelly people before and it's pure torture to be near them, much less work on a project for three hours straight side-by-side with them. The Frisky recently brought up this tricky situation after a writer over at The Gloss admits she rarely showers.
Ew? Don't get me wrong, I totally understand if you don't want to wash your hair every day. Lots of people say it's unhealthy for your hair if you wash it too much and some lucky people don't have oily hair and can go without washing it every day or even every other day. But your body? Don't you want to clean that? For Pete's sake, put on a shower cap, grab a bar of soap, and get washing. It will take you 5 minutes and with a shower cap, you don't even have to dry your hair. Are you telling me you don't have 5 minutes in your day for personal hygiene?
Maybe it's just me, but if I go one single day without showering, I just feel dirty. Think about all the things you do every day and it seems pretty obvious that you probably should be cleaning yourself. You wash your hands several times a day (I hope), so shouldn't you wash your body once? I really don't think that's too much to ask.
The writer at The Gloss says, "I typically shower at least every 3 days. OK, no. Every 4 days. My hair probably gets washed once every 5-7 days….if I’m lucky." Color me disgusted. To make matters worse, this writer lives with her boyfriend. Not only do I believe you should be clean for sex, but isn't it smart to take a shower at least the next day after sex?
Showering not only is good for you, but it will make other people want to be around you. You might not realize you smell, but you likely do if you haven't showered in 3 days. Do us all a favor and clean yourself!
