find another way...save first....buy a cheaper used car...use a bike or mo-ped...walk...find private investors for your business...or start small and build up without needing much funding...it can be done..do you think it's supposed to be easy? it's not but it is a way to stop being used...because we ARE being used by banks.

we can make our own choices about how much we are willing to be used by banks...if having a home that will take a long time to pay for is more important than not being used by a bank then that's fine...we all have our own limits on what we can or will tolerate and it all comes with a price...we each decide the price we are willing to pay...we stopped using debt 6 years ago and we just pay as we go..it works for us...we do own our home and will not need a mortgage

understandable, i own my home and auto outright but how many people can do what you and i have been able to do. for those who can't is there a applicable solution or alternative

i suppose if more and more of us try not to use debt we will help clear the way for new solutions to come about...we needto give banks an incentive to come back to the community level...banks are really supposed to be finding ways to re-invest in their local community not find ways to fee us to death and trick us into taking out debt that revolves and will likely never be re-paid...we have more power than we are wiling to realize...it will take time but we need to start making some hard choices and simplifying our lives will help us free ourselves from banks and monopolies.

I don't know. I seriously thought we would have collectively snapped by now.
