Im sick and tired of hearing muslims and atheist objecting to many desiring to put up Christmas Lights and Manger scenes on our small courthouse square in my town! The “politically correct,” fear them! I read in the Houston Chronicle how muslim women wish to have their face covered for their picture on their Texas drivers license! It is an invasion of their “rights?”
I start to think… WHY must we Americans be required to “adapt” to the life style of those Immigrants coming here rather than their adapting to ours? What has political correctness come to? I just know that I’m sick and tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture by denying our own. Since the terrorist attacks on 9/11, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Americans, but that is slowly being stripped away by those who say we are offended far too many “non-Americans” who wish to live here.
The dust raised from the fall of our Twin Towers had barely settled when muslims planned to build the “Victory Mosque” in celebration of their destruction and we even had fellow Americans support them in their request! We’ve allowed Political Correctness...

The dust raised from the fall of our Twin Towers had barely settled when muslims planned to build the “Victory Mosque” in celebration of their destruction and we even had fellow Americans support them in their request! We’ve allowed Political Correctness to declare that American Patriotism is “offensive” to so many others. Even our own President refuses to wear an American Flag pin on his lapel when he speaks to us!
I am not against immigration, nor do I hold any grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to America! However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our
country, and apparently some born here, need to understand.
This idea of America being a “melting pot “community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Americans, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle. That culture has been developed over centuries of struggles, war, trials and hardships. It has developed by the sacrifices of millions who have even left their family and put their lives in “harms way” so that our precious Liberties might continue to be the backbone of our very existence!
We speak ENGLISH…. Not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic… nor Chinese, Japanese, Russian or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, our way, our culture… learn our language!
"In God We Trust" is our National Motto. This is not some Christian,
right wing, political slogan. We adopted this motto because our founders knelt to their knees and included in our declaration we are a nation with rights and freedom that are not granted by governments or kings, but by our Creator! Rights that state God Himself bestowed them upon us. No other bulwark exists to safeguard these “natural” rights of human beings but by Divine sanction. Remove God, and we remove all natural claims of “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness!” The absolute meaning of “purpose” in life. Should our God offend someone, then I suggest you consider another part of the world that has “shut Him out,” because God is part of our culture.
If the Christian Cross or manger scene offends you, then why don’t you seriously consider moving to another part of the Planet where those who are equally offended might befriend you and make you happy? For We Americans have been a “happy people” till you have come here and voiced your intentions to change us.
This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND and OUR LIFESTYLE. We have allowed you every opportunity to enjoy this with us. But yet you complain, whine and call it “unfair” to say our National Pledge of Allegiance, accept our National Motto…. Our way of life!
Political Correctness has redefined our way of PRIDE to our country by those who show but only despise, hate or indifference.
Those who aren't happy here then f#@* off! We didn't force you to come here….. just leave! We will BOTH be better for it! Old Salt

Rape and murder are not acceptable practices of anyone's religion in the US. It is still illegal no matter who your God is.
Kill All Infidels....I rest My case...
We as citizens and our country (gov't) keep allowing those pushing for more and more political correctness to have their way, whether it be Islam, or any other group of people (have you noticed most are religion-based or affiliated whether Islam, Christian, etc., and most use their religion to justify their ideals and push them on us?). Our Gov't cowers to them all and passes new laws, and courts stand up for them, ruling in their favour... and we, the citizens, stand back and allow it all to happen... So, while these groups and our Gov't and courts, are victimizing us, we're also victimizing ourselves by standing back and just accepting it... And the more we just accept it, the more it's going to continue to happen...
DISCLAIMER: All of that being said, I have to clarify the following:
1. I am not prejudiced against any race;
2. I am not prejudiced against any religion;
3. I believe the pendulum has swung from one extreme to the other... that these groups were once treated unfairly, but now they're given special treatment... one example of another area of this trend: Smokers: Smokers had the freedom to smoke anywhere and everywhere just about... now, with ...

Non-smokers and the gov't are pushing their ideals onto smokers, and the Gov't is cowering to them, passing laws and restrictions, forcing employers to banish all smoking on their premises, etc... again, the pendulum has swung from one extreme to the other...
However, may I suggest that Islam is NOT a religion as much as it is a "law?" Nor is God a religion more than He is a "belief!" It is but man's interpretation that becomes a "religion" and thus the teaching that is passed on.... sometimes by the same mistake of muslims... defining it as law, yes?
The same convictions that our founding fathers had in defining our "rights" come from our "Creator," does not specify or mandate the formal declaration of a religion, but that by such proclamation, "all men are created equal!" A resolution clearly taken from Biblical findings yet not imposing a “religious” value to be forced on non-believers in God. For was not the author of our Constitution a man who believed in the awareness of God, yet not in His deity?
The "prejudices" of man therefore do not come from God, but by man's own self-serving behavior, and I believe our founding fathers understood that.
"Here is a practical list of 'donts' for you!" :)
Our Religion is OUR FAITH..
Their Theology is a Command of Obedience
This is some of what the Founding Father's believed....
No, I am an Objectivist, not a Libertarian as I once misrepresented myself... Less Gov't interference, downsized Gov't, etc...
I am against "outsiders" coming here to enjoy our freedoms, rights, etc... and then attempting to change everything... whether they be Islam followers, or any other immigrant... yes, by all means, legal immigration is cool and good... come here, become a full-fledged, legal, hard-working, equally tax-paying citizen and enjoy our way of life... and do not try to change it, but adapt... do not come here and expect handouts... I didn't and don't work hard and pay my taxes and all, to also support those who are looking for (and getting) the free ride at my expense and that of my family... don't come here and expect the free ride yet sill have more than me and my family who work hard...
You're right about Islam and religion in general, I suppose... but I wasn't getting picky about the specific words... religion, law, belief, etc...
I was not defending Islam in any way... nor can I stand so-called "political correctness"... I was pointing out simply that the author of this post was pointing the finger (through inference rather than coming right out and stating it) that Islam is the primary cause and primary antagonist in the trends towards political correctness... It may be (and most like is) a huge one, but it is not the only one...
I merely wanted to point out that we shouldn't "attack" only Islam regarding the this trend towards "political correctness", but ALL instigators of it... all equally, not just one...
I, personally, can't stand this "PC" BS... rather than "Political Correctness", it should be something like "Public Constipation"...
I'LL tell U like it is!
LIKE IT OR NOT!
