How hard was it to get out of the closet?

Closet? What closet? All I see is a pile of ashes not more than a meter away.

And anyway, I'm straight up when it comes to saying "I'm gay," but I prefer to let people guess at it before I tell the truth.

I was never in it. Coming out of the closet is for queers.

I have a friend who was in the closet for about four years and came out between sophomore and junior years of high school. He came out in little steps and it seemed pretty hard. He didn't decide to broadcast it to everyone all at once, or even tell out of the blue. He decided to wait until someone asked him if he was, and eventually I asked him on a dare and he said yes. Then he came out slowly, first to close friends and then to the rest of the school. Eventually, his parents found out and they were pretty sad and he was scared because they're pretty strict Catholics. I think they still might be sad about it, but they've accepted him as much as they can and said that they love him anyway, but it still seemed pretty hard to go through.

It depends. To my family and people I don't know, I'm still in it. I was never in it regarding women, they can always tell, but only four men have even guessed I wasn't straight - one was gay, one was bi, one was the bi guy's best friend, so I know what the fourth must be ;P

im not les but one time i feel into my closet and got my but stuck in a tube and couldnt get out

Until my wife filled it with clothing. Now I can not get in it. I just lay my clothes on the chair now.

If you mean the 'gay' closet, I was never in it.

The only time it was ever difficult was when I had to finish cleaning it and painting it.

It was hard, my generation had a lot to loose by coming out. Luckily we kicked the door open for the young ones coming up. I use this example a lot. At the city's first Pride parade in 1982, I wore a mask. Today, my children march proudly with the teens and young people. We have come a long way.

my sexuality came very naturally to me, so it was never really a matter of internal conflict.



when i felt like getting with a guy, i did. i didn't tell anyone 'hey, i like dudes', i just went on and asked him out, and went on with my life.

same thing when i wanted to be with a girl. not really a big deal to me (:

... my cousins triple locked it as an April Fools Day prank. I was trapped inside for over an hour, and I couldn't breathe in there!

just pushed the door hard and told my wife never to lock me in there again..lol
