How far do you go on a first date?

Typically...although every first date is different.

Being the serial dater that I've become 99.9% never make it that far ..but for the few and far between who've stirred me,sparked that interest yes I have.

you see on my first date at the old age of.....12.....i walked next to the girl and did not hold hands....not that i did not want to but i did not want my mates to see me....i could always say she was a cousin...lol! welllllll she asked for some chocs, now in those days we had the old L S D (£ S D...pounds shillings and pennys not the drug lol!) and there wrere 5 tanners (6 pennys to a tanner (sixpenny piece or sixpence) to a half crown piece....soooo being a young gauche know it all nothing kid i went into the shop and changed the half crown up into 5 tanners and came out and gave her a tanner......never saw her again lol!

Probably just a hug or a goodnight would be enough on a first date.

It just depends on the date and the chemistry....but I usually always hug the person....good bye....I love to hug and figure everyone can use one. :)

Actually, it depends on who it is and how it goes...I picked "Hug" because I have been known to hug or be hugged by total strangers...

First dates are for getting to know the other person to see if you even want to hang out with them again - there's no need to share spit - if you're interested that will definitely come later ....and the anticipation only heightens the experience.

Depends a lot on how the date is going, whether you've hit it off or not. It could go in a number of directions, from a handshake to sex and anything in between.

there was huge build up. i knew my gf for a little more than a year but we werent dating just friends finally i convinced her to go out with me and after our date we had sex been together 3 years 4 if you count that build up year but i dont.
