How do you want your wedding to be? How was your wedding?

I am not engaged or even dating someone but I think it's pretty normal for girls/women to think about their dream wedding.
Even some guys think about it! So what was your wedding like? What kind do you want?

My wife's parents disowned her and her two sisters were prevented from coming to our wedding. I was a Catholic, they were UCC. Her father called her a "child of the grave" IF she married that damned Catholic. They predicted our marriage would last at best less than a year.

38 years later we're still going strong.

About a couple of years after we married, relations in the family cooled down to the extent we were talking and visiting again, but I will NEVER forgive my mother-in-law for treating my wife in such an ugly way.

No woman should ever have to endure the heartache of having one's parents disown her for marrying that guy.

I don't want to get married

I don't care about weddings or marriage i don't want it nor need it

I rather go on an adventure or on a vacation people waste their money on something that happens on one day.....waste of money and time

Mine was like this

It was awesome. Country club done simple with white lights and small sprigs of flowers, JP did the ceremony, I scared everyone when my mind went blank when asked if I would have and hold and all that (of course I said yes, well, I said "Yeah" and my husband will never let me forget it). Purple and green were the colors, 3 people per side. About 150 guests, everyone danced at one point (my grandmother, bad knees and all, got up for the Hamster Dance). I had a Dude of honor, because my best friend was a guy, and he looked great in purple. It was amazing, and I really only remember parts of it.

I've been married once and divorced once. I went the white bridal gown/church route, but it was fairly simple with friends and family. There were maybe 75 to 100 people there. Reception was at the church and again, not fancy.

I'd love to find Mr. Right and marry again in a very simple ceremony with meaning for both of us. I'd love to be married in the summer in a park or just a back yard in full bloom. Don't want something fancy or expensive--just meaningful.

Hey, it happens, but in retrospect, I know that I'm better off that he left. My daughter got married last fall, so I picture your wedding in the fall. :)

I want to elope so I don't have to invite anyone. My dads family and my moms family anywhere close would be a horrible idea and there would be a lot of people that I wouldn't want to invite but I would have to.

I want a quick simple wedding in Vegas. I want to wear a simple white dress from the 50s or 60s era. I don't need all that expensive,fancy stuff.

We just had a small wedding with 50 friends/relatives total at a nice hotel near where we lived.
Our wedding song was "When you tell me that you love me" by Westlife and Diana Ross.
