What can we say? We're gaga over groceries! While we shop for our favorite snacks at the store, we often wonder if our grocery store etiquette is the same as others. Do most people sneak in samples at the candy bins while deciding whether or not they're going to buy the goods? What do you do when the cashier gives you too much change? And is it normal to go grocery shopping three times a week? We're finally going to find out.

I use credit cards for everything. I get cash back on my cards and I pay them off in full each month, so they pay me to use their cards.

Cash 99% of the time; check when I don't have enough on me.

I also use coupons as often as possible (but don't like being offered online coupons by manufacturers because no store in my area takes them).

I let my boyfriend pay, he eats most of it any way. (I can't help it if I'm a great cook.:) I hate shopping, but I love to cook:)

I never know how much it's going to come to, so it's the easiest and fastest way to pay for me. I always end up throwing something else in the cart that's not on my list. Bad.

Good and I see you hate to shop, so don't I. My husband says I "power" shop as I run in, try to grab just what I need and get the heck out.

I had to get everything within a half hour from the time the bus dropped me off until the time it came back around to pick me back up.

I pay for everything with my card and get cash back at the end of the month ... At a small place owned by Mom and Pop, I pay with cash so they are not out any fees ... That way I can keep track of what I spend ...

I can't remember the last time I had more than $30.00 in my wallet/pocket. I pay for everything with my debit card. Once in a while, in a pinch, we use a credit card.. but those are it.

but yeah I normally pay by Debit card, it's just easier for me being a student to keep track of my money digitally rather than having loose change flying about.

I live in the area of an uber-crime city. I usually prefer not to carry cash - the "scouts" prefer to target those they see using cash, rather than credit cards...

Love my SW Visa card and will fly in a few weeks "free" for my "leaf peeping" trip. I pay it off every month. Total CASH cost of my flight: $5.00 ($2.50 each way for landing fees). I'd be spending the money anyway, might as well get a "freebie."

I usually pay with debit card or cash. Although my income is low enough to qualify for them, I have never used food stamps.
