Traffic is the perfect way to make an 8 hour work day last even longer. What better way to spend time after grueling labor then sitting in your car for hours rolling in stop and go traffic? A good way to keep yourself from going insane is to stay occupied with something else while in the car. What do you do to pass time while sitting in traffic?

i text alot & i usually have my ipod with me so there isnt ant reason 4 me 2 browse radio stations umm sum times i read license plates and when ever there is sum1 in the car next 2 me that looks like a total jackass i wave at them like a lunitic just 2 piss them off ;)

i remember there was this one infront of me i think it was like bzl tyr and i spent the whole red light trying to figure it out...i think its suposed to be buzz lightyear which is awesome =D

i don't have my license yet....but when i'm in the car with someone who is stuck in traffic I ussaly(sp?) make fun of the people in other cars,only if i'm really bored(but most of the time I text or listen to the radio).which is a bad idea to do if it's nice outside and you have the windows down and your in a city(I did that once when my mom was taking my down to pittsburgh for a concert,but atleast no one heard me).

There is only about 12,000 people in the county that I live in. Most, like myself, are retired.
About 90% of those who work have to leave the county to do so. I moved here to get away from the crush.

I don't have a license...*gasp* but I did drive the past couple days. I spent my time hoping I wouldn't get caught. Most of the time i'm listening to music, reading or doing puzzles...ah, the magic of not driving. (btw - after 14 years w/o a license I'm taking my tests!)

I have four radio stations that I switch between. 1 Country, 2 Mixed, 1 Oldies. The country channel in the morning has a tradition of having a child or group of children say the Pledge of Allegiance and then having a country star sing the Star Spangled Banner; I always listen to get my morning off to a good start. Whenever the DJ starts running their mouths a lot, I switch channels. I tell the bad drivers off in the mornings - Good thing they cannot hear me. In the afternoon, I listen to mostly the oldies channel because they usually play the top five songs on a particular date in history.

I pay close attention to the traffic. It is when it is the heaviest that some drivers will make stupid and dangerous maneuvers to get a vehicle length ahead.

well first, I am fortunate to not to have to sit in stop and go traffic, that's the plus side to living in a very small town...but when I do have the pleasure, lol, I listen to music and read bumper stickers, or chat on the phone... ;)
