How do you feel about interracial dating, marriage, and so on?

I'm from Louisville, KY and interracial dating is severely frowned upon still to this day. I personally think you should be with whoever makes you happy regardless of skin color.

I am in an interracial marriage and I love it. My wife is from Central America and I am from the US. We both get to experience customs and foods that we would otherwise would never have a chance to experience. Also children of mixed couples are better looking in my opinion. I never even think about the fact that my wife an I are different. We are who we are.

People who are mixed are really good looking.
They seem to get the good features from both parents.

I grew up in California. There are a lot of mixed people there.

Dark skinned people with light colored eyes.
Light skinned people with exotic facial feature like high cheekbones.

One of the most beautiful girls I met when I was young was half black and half white.

Look at the women in Brazil. They are a mix of black, white and native and they are some of the most beautiful women in the world.

I'm not disagreeing that they aren't beautiful, but there are many, many same race people who are just as beautiful, in my opinion.

You're totally right. My wife is not mixed and I think she is beautiful.

I worded it wrong. I don't think mixed people are more beautiful. I think they are more exotic looking.

Real Christian of them, isn't it? Do they really believe that Jesus was white? It's just ridiculous. Somehow, all different "colors" of skins were put on this earth to live together...I would think the hope would be to live together peacefully...but for some that is not an option.

Your welcome but I guess you didn't get what I meant. I used sympathize as a way of saying my feelings are congruent with yours. Sympathize can be used mulitple ways.

Yes, all human being originated in African. As some tribes moved northern the need for melanin decreased because there was less of a need for it because lack of sunlight in the northern regions of Europe. Basically because we evolve to our environment.

I don't think anything is morally wrong with interracial dating or marriage. However, it still make me feel uncomfortable. Don't ask me why. It's probably because I was raised in the Southern United States.
