How do you describe Philippines?

There is no other place on the entire planet that I would want to live other than the Philippines . . . I plan to retire there . . .

Nice place for a vacation.

But not really a great place to live in.

Ah, how to describe the Philippines? Well let's see they are one of the happiest people I've ever known. And there many plces that is extraordinarily beautiful. I spent my life until I was 12 yrs old there. Mostly in Tagaytay. The place overlooks TAAL Volcano. To say that it's one of the most beautiful places on earth would be an understatement. Look it up in your computer. The place they call Tagaytay and Taal volcano, and you will agree with me. Unfortunately, the last 5 years that I spent in those Islands were marred by WW2, and it brings too much sadness, fear, torture and too much death. The memories that I still carry of those last 5 years have marred my perspectives. I do try to forget, but sometimes it's too overwhelming

I describe with one name: Manny Pacquiao.

I think is is beautiful. I have friends from the Philippines...

At least I think it is. Never have been there. Didn't seem a very friendly place when Marcos was in comand and Imelda was buying all those shoes. Beleive it is much better today.

I have never been there, but from what I've heard from my aunt and uncle their are lots of shorter people and buildings. ( my uncle who is 6'2 married a Filipino lady) and when my uncle visited my aunt before they married people would look up to him because he was so out of place, that's the only thing I remember them saying about the Philippines.

Not really sure, never been there but I imagine it to be fun and relaxing.
