I think it is a useful tool. Police can spot known criminals who would have gone thru a city undiscovered. They are not looking for me so it doesn't bother me.
It is a privacy issue with me. But maybe it is necessary. Will this technology be used fairly and make us safer? If it is use for the purpose they state, then I am for it. But the big question remains will it be?
In some ways, I really hate technology. It destroys privacy and has destroyed the old way of life. It almost overweighs the ultimate convenience of it.

What if I don't want to catalog my face. My mom used to work for this company that required hand scans to clock in; in order for the computer to know if her hand scan was hers, they would have to store it just like face recognition. My mom didn't do it though.
I have the same "software" in my head (freaky facial recognition thing).
Take care,
