How 21st Century are you?

I think many of these are possible! I particularly hope we are no longer relying on oil for energy (or fuel for cars) and I sincerely hope the crimes of Bush et al are revealed and those still living prosecuted.

I used to think that the 21st century sucked so far, but I got to thinking. When I was 10, we still had rotary dial phones, my grand parents had a party line, 15 mpg was pretty good, you only had cartoons on saterday morning, three channels on the TV, computers were super high tech, we were'nt nearly as mobile as we are today, and making a phone call around the globe was extravegant and extreamly expensive. My kids can't imagine a life without internet, cell phones, satalite TV, and expendable money (of which there was none when I was a kid)

We already know Bush Jr. did some crimes , like lying about WMD to start war
& did illegal wiretapping & torturing & probably cheated to steal election .
It would be nice if Bush & his crooked cronies were put in jail , but it's unlikely.

Most of whats above will probably not happen within the time frames stated. Asimov , Heinlien, Clark are some of my favorite authors. The Bush crimes may be revealed within 20 years I hope . They and their cronies should be in prison for destroying our nation. The meat prediction is possible . Oil will always be used for something but for fuel, it should be phased out. Androids are part human, but smart robots will be the up and coming technology . Arcologies are somewhat farthur in the future and will be first developed around the space elevators . As for some of the other things, I'll be happy to discuss them if you wish . Good question !

All of these things are possible and so much more!
It's just that the way the World seems to be headed,

Don't give the Pentagon any credit for the wrong doings. Samuel Bush instigated the Military Industrial Complex (MIC) in 1918, the Bush Dynasty has been running this country ever since.

Anything is possible when everyone works together for a common goal. If the World would stop going to war over the most insane reasons and spend that time & energy to improve the World, it would be possible even sooner. We have the knowledge & technology to do the most wonderful things & we waste it fighting. The result being that the entire World is in a huge financial crisis & only getting worse.

I don't know if you're implying that I'm part of Brainwashed America, but I'm one of those who realizes that the Broadcast media is owned by 5 or 6 companies and understands the significance of it. I think what is really going on is stranger than what is described in the song "2525" and even stranger than most of the science fiction that is out there.

That movie is a great metaphor for what is going on with the media and infiltration into and influence on the government. In reality I think the situation is even stranger, because I think there are a number of off world beings involved. I think the NWO, time travel, averted disasters, changed time lines, the shadow government, Black Ops, DNA as it relates to the spirit, portals, anti-gravity technology, and suppressed energy technologies are all a part of it. Just as with the existence of the NWO, it is difficult for people to believe until they have taken in a critical mass of information related to it and see how it all fits together. In a more direct answer to the question that you posted, I picture a future in which the more disruptive alien groups aren't allowed to meddle in what is happening on Earth and with humans being mentored by the more benevolent groups of aliens, with the aliens providing information and technology as needed and humans doing their part to progress and create a working system. Contactee, Alex Collier, refers to it as a holographic system with redundancies that prevent any group from having centralized control. It also involves absence of any monetary system with the basic needs of every one being met by the government with no strings attached and people doing what they choose to, to contribute.
