Bibles have been booted from The Damson Dene Hotel... and E L James’ BDSM erotica novel "Fifty Shades of Grey" has taken its place in every room within the English inn.

Upon request, the front desk of the hotel will provide bibles. TheFrisky goes on to write "...the replacement has caused much controversy, with people in the United States sending “quite a few e-mails quoting the scripture to [the hotel] and suggesting that it would be a good thing to put the Bible back.”

I never understand why any hotel/motel has a bible, or any book, to read. Other than the yellow pages. But that's the only book that would make sense... Whatever.

The KJV is the correct version. The name is a name.That is all. Who is behind the name is way more important. Jesus is the one behind it.You must have the mind of Jesus in you to avoid the the appearance of evil not using scripture to harm others. The scribes, and chief priests are not soul wise in that regard. I remember looking up verses in the KJV comparing them to the Gideon,,and some of them did not match up. I am looking for a cross reference to give you a specific verse. When I find one I will give it to you. I did that in a motel, but I an having a hard time finding a cross reference on the web Biblos or kingbible is good but it does not have Gideon bible in it.

of the councel of nicaea in turkey... ( nicaea was in the year 325. )
they added and removed also.

the Dead Sea Scrolls & the Nag Hammadi Scriptures & other archaeology has clarified some murky stuff.
Should also check out the Apocrypha & Gnostic Gospels to glean more of the Truth. Book of John sucks, Gospel of Thomas, Phillip, Mary Magdalene & the Acts of John etc.show what the Church DON'T want you to see.

I have been using Biblos or Kingbible web page using the KJV. They are the same web page. I have no problems whatsoever. The church acts like the Oppressive sodomites, and the legal system too ,and the military, and the Police. They are all trying to direct the human mind away from that fact trying to make gay sex sodomy. The sodomites attach everyone. That is why the zoosexual who has sex with different species is attached, and Pedo too. The church already does a fine Job not letting people know what the KJV say. That is why the words abominable, defiled perverted, and naughty are used against people not being what scripture says they are. Hell is lied about too. The gates of heaven are both. Depends who has Jesus is them or not.

The Bible is also available on Kindel. Most of us who travel for fun or business aren't looking to find Jesus in our hotel rooms or packing our Bibles in our carry-ons, but that doesn't mean we don't have a solid relationship with God.

Nudity, sexuality, innocence, and perversion are not always part of the same conversation. What was God's reaction to Adam hiding his nakedness? We are two blind men describing the same elephant, or God's will, and I don't think we can agree on its description.

Its not the getting rid of bibles that I think is wrong. That's the hotel's decision, but putting porn in every hotel room... Really? Sometimes, on occasion, parents have children with them. And children, being unpredictable things are well... Unpredictable. Murphy's law, that thing about monkeys and shakespeare, all point to young children reading porn. There are some things that are only funny to talk about, and when reality is applied, isn't actually a good joke.
