There are post after post today about Obama's supporting same sex marriages.
This is not a bash post but a voting post.
Simple, are you for Same Sex Marriages, Domestic Union or neither. But you have to understand there is differences and you need to support one.
Same Sex Marriage:
No definition needed, two people of the same sex legally seen as a couple with all entitled benefits.
Domestic Union: Not the same thing as Same Sex. Domestic Unions give both partners the same right as a married couple, but here the difference from Same Sex Marriage. Many older Americans will find a friend whom they share a home with. They may join all account and responsibilities between themselves. Yes a same sex (homosexual if you like) can apply for a domestic union. This will allow you to make those decisions in your partners best interest in case like an accident. It would protect you from being evict from a joint house if your partner passes by the family.
Neither: Look it up if you need a definition
One note, same sex does not cover in the case like senior citizens share a life. Many time old men will live with another old man with the same interest but are not lovers and vice versa with women.

Just like a state does not have to recognize your drivers license from another state once you move to their state. They can tell you that you must take their state driving course before you may receive your license.
