There is nothing wrong with wanting to be seen in a positive way by people, I can totally understand where you are coming from I think. Perhaps it is with me over time I have simply realized that not everyone is going to think highly of me, so the ones who do not I do not let them upset me. Especially online, the people who may have a negative outlook on me, well they do not know me, who I actually am as a person, so whatever their opinion it is formed without much substance and so therefore has little value. Hope some of that made sense to you Roze

Everyone does to some extent. Its healthy not to be obsessed with the opinions of others but overall its something that can't be helped. Everyone wants the approval and respect of somebody in their life.

Sometimes I admit I do and find it tempting not to put across an impresion that is more to meet others aproval then it is to cincerity. However it never takes them long to sort out the fact that I dont realy care what you think of me unless it costs me money. Just to drive home the point I did not even spelcheck this.
