Here where I live we had a 60 foot dock land on 1 of our beaches! Has anyone-else gotten Tsnumi trash land on their beach?

    i was part of a clean up crew....man oh man
    the amount of crap and it all floats around there in circles and does not go anywhere. the poor birds eat some of it

    no, just remnants of you will not believe, soda bottles, glass, plastic, tupperware, rope, fishing nets, etc....one guy at univ of hawaii opened up a dead bird, its stomach contents were full of garbage :-(

    yw...they want to go there once each three months
    it is not funded so it is just a bunch of people with boats....or small ships that go and ask locals if they want to help and the answer is always yes. people like to pitch in

    true, as a scout in my younger days i always participated in beach clean ups....this is still holding true in my adult life....i have a good habit of picking up trash on beaches with one plastic shopping bag i always take...glass is unsafe for keike<--little kids

    yep theyve been pulling them out of the inlets around vancouver for a couple years now but that was going on long before the tsunami
    think they have found 5 or 6 now they think it might be some mob thing

    but if your referring to the latest thing where that rossi guy mailed the feet to the politician that was weird
