cool! I grew up in a farming and ranching community and have seen a lot of different breeds of cattle, but have never seen this one - thanks!

Those cows are way too cool! It was fun seeing the Belted Galoway's. I wouldn't have believed they existed if I didn't see them up close and personal! My kids loved this book when they were little! We really like cows!

That's great. I'm afraid we are city people. My cousin in the Catskill Mountains would torture me when I visited with all manner of bugs and icky things! I love visiting country places, but this city girl wouldn't last long with livestock. You'd be laughing at me like crazy! :o) Enjoy the rest of your day!

Mostly Maine, I lived in Bowdoin College for a year, back in the days when JFK was elected,
and I bought a car in Woonsocket, R.I. I visited Boston, too. You have GREAT Indian summers.

Yes, and I had a grand old time (in a rare photo of me on SH). Look, here I am in your state Sister, full of Lobstah:

At the time, I had friends living in both Manchester, NH, and Providence, RI. One of the best vacations I ever went on and would definitely go again.

I used to live in New Hampshire, and while I lived there I visited every New England state except Rhode Island and Maine. Best place I ever lived.

I have visited all of the states there and camped out on the battleship Massachusetts with my son when he was in Cub scouts. That was my fondest memory, it was like spending the night in a mental institution. The kids never went to sleep and raised hell all night, a lot of the adults just kicked back and tied a load on. I honestly thought the ship would get raided but nothing happened. I understand the ship is available for private parties. Keep it in mind. Quite an attraction.

Yup, born in CT, had many relatives in MA and visited the other NE states on vacations & such. Beautiful part of the country.
