I have communicated with many people on SH that have affected my life. Some are people who are dealing with an issue that I myself have dealt with and I have shared information. Sometimes its been this one or that one (mostly the younger members) that are dealing with a problem in life and they ask for advice or talk about a problem that they have. I worry about them from some of the posts I see. I pray that things work out for them. I like wishing people a "happy birthday" even if I haven't seen them on posts before. I don't necessarily have to "know" someone to want to do something like say "Happy Birthday". It's nice to do something nice for a total stranger. That impacts me in a good way. I like to think that maybe I give someone else a reason to smile. I've had posts from people with whom I have become acquainted and they often make me smile too. :-)

No, cyber life has never impacted my real life.

Yes, a number of people (at least 20) here have impacted my life on the positive side. Some I have talked to by phone and some who have unfortunately passed away like Usti Wayla and Outlaw. There are 2 that I have met in person and I hang out a lot with my Canadian friend who has a Harley, fun fun fun! I still miss Joseph Bawlker (sp?), a highly intelligent Vietnam Vet who put out awesome posts that made everybody "THINK". I recently fell into a deep depression but pulled up with the help of my friends here and outside of here. I'm sure you have a number of friends too Treasure. You are a people person and most enjoyable to be around ;)

YES. i LOVE ALL MY FRIEND'S ON SH. Yes many of them impact my life. The one that impacted my life the most became my best friend one that was all ways there for all of his friend's. This friend well all way's have a place deep in my heart. Campdavid ....I do love all my friend's.

As nasty as I can get I still have to be nice to Sister Jean. That is because I know what she gave up to become what she is. I am conservative and she is liberal. We work it out. She is never nasty like me.

I have made many wonderful friends here, but I can't say any have impacted my life. I guess it depends what you mean by impacted your life. It's hard for people on the internet to really change one's life. At least that's as far as i can see it.

Definitely!!!! I have made many wonderful friends that have impacted my life in such a good way. I am so lucky to have met them. There are several that have greatly impacted my life. I love my friends.....and they are REAL friends.

Well she became my current girlfriend, and I left all I had ever known to fly (for the first time ever) all the way across the country to live with her. I'd call that an impact.

I'm actually on disability, but have been voicing my desire for a part time job since my arrival. She won't take me to help find one. I don't have my driver's licence yet, so I can't do it myself. No public transit here either.

You should be proud of yourself for going to be with the woman you love....I am on Disability too....so I understand. I commend you for having the guts to make this move and for being so brave. Hope you're happy! :)

Well...good for you! That is awesome. I met a guy in the Las Vegas airport a few years ago who was going to another Country to be with his girlfriend too. He was so happy. :) Glad you're so happy! :)
