Have you lost a beloved pet?

Over the last couple of years, quite a few of our Sodahead friends have lost their beloved pet! My most lovable friend lost his sweet little girl just last month- and now.... barely even a week ago, another sweet friend lost her handsome ol' guy, Murphy--!!

It is quite sad that our pets don't have as long life spans as we do.... but they sure do make a grandstanding impression while they're here!!! :)

So, let's all come together and celebrate their lives.. and the impact they made on each of our lives and our families' lives while they were here with us!

Please tell us your favorite thing, or your favorite memory about your furry little friend(s) who's waiting for you at Rainbow Bridge, and let's celebrate their lives & souls~

Well, the older one is closing in on 13, and the pup is now 4....she keeps the older male moving, they play together well.....he has epilepsy, but rarely has siezures....so he's doing really well...thanks...it's always hard to let go of family...

Yes I did a few years ago Hunters shot and killed my dogs Banjo and Tatter boy ... I got those hunters real good you can bet your ass they will never hunt again ... R I P Boys

Yes Gizmo, and Bianca
Gizmo from throat Cancer when he was 12, and Bianca my Yorkie to Congestive heart failure. They died within 2 years of each other. I have both their ashes, and when I died they will be buried with me. .

If or when humans pass on as the dominant life form on Earth,
I'm rooting for dogs as our replacement.
They will do so much better.

We lost our cockatiel,Chickabee,in July,2010...we lost our beagle,Clarence,November,2011... were a major part of my life..
This picture was taken on Christmas Eve '07...they often slept together.

In my years, I've had Many fur friends. I've lost a lot of them too. There was Soupy ( Soup hound ), the stunted dalmation---- He Loved hamburgers, and always took them apart, carefully eating the veggies first, the buns second and the meat last.I'll swear that dog was addicted to pickles! There was Blackie who liked me when my husband was home, and Hated me when Gordon was gone! It was like he thought I'd driven his human away!The one I cried the most over was Sandy, a rescued ridgeback. She was only six when I had to put her down because of mouth cancer.She was something else! . We started to go on vacation, and she went and got her lead! I never got to go to Carlsbad because I had an 80 lb. dog with me! She would let Anybody in the house, but they didn't leave till I got home! She got between them and the doors and would snarl when they tried to get past!I cried most over her because she was so young! The others all were well past the given years! Blackie only had a few days to live to 20, Soupy was 18.
