I'm good. It's been crazy lately. Kids are almost out of school. My nephew graduated college. My son is graduating high school in a few weeks. Busy times. I can't believe I'm saying it but I can't wait for summer.

Aww that's awesome.. Yeah me too normally I wouldn't cuz I hate the summer time but, this yr is going to be a great one, and so looking forward to it lol.. You must be proud of your son. ;)

I'm still debating if I'm going to go to Oregon to see his graduate.

I've had a whole bunch on one of my kidneys, Some sort of procedure on my brain (I honestly don't remember..lol something to do with cerebral palsy and a stroke and swelling), Correction of scoliosis, and I am due for another regarding my cerebral palsy in several months. I've also had a whole bunch of minor surgical procedures done.

I don't know what you mean by major? I've had an appendectomy, a tubal ligation and exploratory knee surgery. I don't think any of those are really major.

No I have had about five minor surgeries, just had one Tuesday of last week on a out patient basis. In at 7 out at 2pm. I am thankful none of them have been real bad. I have empathy for those that go through the big ones.

I had laproscopic prostate cancer surgery on January 20, 2003, at Sloan Kettering Memorial Cancer Center in NYC. Shortly before the surgery, a woman who claimed to be a nun or former nun, came to my bedside and asked if I wanted her to pray with me despite the fact that my chart said I was a Protestant. I explained that I had graduated from a Jesuit University graduate school and that I would be honored to pray with her. The prayer and her kind words were very comforting and I will always remember her!

Congresswoman Michele Bachman said she had a "titanium spine" when she was running for President! Funny, but she never mentioned receiving surgery for it!
