I have twice in my life seen what is called the eye in the sky (by some). It is a glowing orange object that looks like a balloon shaped a bit more like a blimp glowing in the sky moving slowly and then moved off like the thing has jet engines. There's no sound with these things and they can't be balloons or blimps because they don't move that fast nor would a jet be that slow without some up and down movement as these things move along a straight line and they are very large.

It is a UFO by the classic definition as I am not claiming it is extraterrestrial or supernatural... that would be labeling and thus, identifying it. For all I know it's something the government is doing so since I have no idea what it is other than a huge light in the sky which moves slowly and then suddenly moves like a bat out of hell.

Most people forget one thing about UFO's... once you identify it as an alien spacecraft, it's no longer a UFO is it... you have identified it if only you in your own mind think it's a space alien.

A friend and I saw a what we think was a UFO once.
And Ghosts.

I have strange sitings everyday SJ! LOL So many strange peeps in the world and things.

When I was still living at home, my father and I were in the back yard on a very clear night, and there seemed to be a star a bit larger than others, which seemed to be moving slightly. Suddenly 5 smaller individual lights departed the bigger light, about 10 seconds apart. HONESTLY, that was 50 years ago.

It happens every day, I thought that I was hallucinating or simply nature likes change ... if nature does not work, then I do not have to worry about. I live near a large airport (Prague) and every day strange in the sky flying aircraft that nothing like a normal plane, as is often normal. One day I heard a special evening hum, anyone who does not resemble me and when I saw up close to the flying object, I do not believe that such a shape as toast without wings could exist. It's like a transporter for the soldiers, I thought that was the war came, I was terribly afraid. Thanks also, I saw only once, so it is still peace.

I was extremely close with my Dad. He was my mentor and hero. When he died it was devastating. One of my favorite memories of him was when I divorced and saved for years and finally bought a house on December 13th, 1997, my Dad was determined to hang Christmas lights as the rest of us moved me and my two small boys in. Being somewhat older, he struggled along the side of the house. My puppy Jersey just sat on the grass and watched, almost as if to be there to help him if he fell. The Christmas after he died several years later, I was walking Jersey late at night during Christmas season. I let her off the leash a few houses from my house to let her sprint home. She immediately ran to the exact spot she was sitting all those years prior and looked directly up at the spot my Father had struggled. When I came to pick her up, she actually growled at me and wiggled out of my arms and resumed her position just looking at the bare side of the house... I truly believe she saw my Dad. SO much so, I immediately put up his Christmas lights the next morning. Jersey and I miss you Dad!

Once I had to walk up a set of stairs behind a man in an extremely tight spandex costume. I'd say that was a pretty strange sighting.

Twice but they had explanations.One time we saw revolving light under a flying object at night,it was this with no letters on. Like on Times square the lights were moving.Then down the street from there a few years later we heard a jet sound like we never heard at night it flew over us very low and you could see blinking lights.It was a SST turning holding a flight path waiting to land at one of the International airports in NY/NJ that took awhile to figure out. They needed to go inland over the Jersey shore because of their speed size I guess.I also saw the space station at night(you can track it on NASA's site) but our local news tells you when it's visible by me. And I saw the space shuttle in the day.

I saw santa once

An area just about an hour from where I am at ..
seems to be a place which draws the "Alien Watcher" crowds ..
they seem to like sitting outside
and watching for odd things in the skies ..
