every summer,,and beware,,one bit me and I almost died as got blood poisoning from it and flesh eating bug set in were ant bit me......i will never walk again due to it but feel lucky to be alive!!!!
usually just little sugar ants...easy to get rid of....but had the big black ones once and had to get an exterminator..thank God he worked...ewwwww yucch,hate bugs, much rather have snakes and bats: anything that eats bugs is welcome...Hubby doesnt even wince if I call a bug guy anymore, not even gonna put up with that
One or two big ants have came in but they never did like my my moms house. But I have a problem with roaches. I will take a ant invasion ay day over roaches.
A few times, mostly the little sugar ants. Bay leaves are supposed to repel ants, and it did seem to work for me, when I put them around in the kitchen.
If you leave food out - - you will have ants... nature works it out that way, as ants are natures garbage collectors.. it is their job.
