    My parents did it for me. So I didn't have to do the work. All it did was verify what I already knew about my ancestory. I have pre-revolutionary 1776 ancestors in America. So I am indeed ALL-AMERICAN!!! lol

    It much in my moms side but I traced my dada all the way back to my great great grandpa in Denmark nothing huge but it seems hard work, caffeine, and soldiering run in the family lol

    Well my uncle has. He traced my family back to 1690 on my dad's side. Nothing that interesting though (no axe murderers) just mainly Lancashire farmers. My mum's side on the other hand... Well, there looks to be some very interesting things on that side, but unfortunately no one likes to talk about it.

    No, but we did do a genetic test on my son that compared his DNA to other populations around the world. I was a little skeptical of his results since it said he most closely matched people of Saudi Arabia, Syria, Egypt etc. To my knowledge, nobody from my family or my ex-husband's family has ancestors from those regions.

    My uncle traced the mothers side of my family who came from England and settled in Massachusetts in 1635. I had one relative who was accused but later acquitted of witchcraft.

    But just barely. There are a LOT of distant family members and cousins that I don't know about.My great-great grandpa on my dad's side was Scottish, my mom says that's where I get my freckles and complexion from.

    Nearly four hundred years ago, one of my ancestors almost didn't make it. He had the bad sense to go out on the weather deck during a storm, and he fell overboard! But he just *happened* to fall over the same side that had a dangling hawser. He grabbed it and held on, until the storm was over and an alert watch officer spotted him and hauled him in.

    My late wife was related to the famous Budd family of New Jersey. They in turn had a connection to the New Jersey family named Stockton, from whom descended one of the three delegates to the Second Continental Congress from New Jersey.

    dont hav to i no every direct ancestor for 18 generations including mostly native american sum european and and a lil african all by name off the top of my head :p (kinda a big deal to my great grandma, she drilled it in me :p)
