why would you adopt or buy a pet if it weren't for the fact that you wanted a cuddly companion? they are there to love you and be loved in return. theyre your best friend when no one else is there for you.

Absolutely, all the time. I love my dogs. I've always told my dogs I loved them and the one kitty I had too. Plus I was lucky enough to many years ago work in a primate nursery and I loved those little apes! Some woman on another poll said animals could not think so they should not be treated well. WTH? Of course they think. .This does not violate TOS because she is not named! Animals, think, reason, have feelings and deserve to be treated with respect!
