when i lived in galveston many years ago and it was 105 out in the shade. loved the ER docs. now im in florida and i just hibernate from may til october to be on the safe side.

Yes, once in Hot Springs, Arkansas...105 temp with 80 percent humidity that day and I usually love the heat. I'm more careful now...tons of water when I have to be out in the heat and I do not stay out in it unless I'm pool side.

I've experienced many things in life but not that. Extreme heat does bother me and leaves me
a little weak but no serious side effects from being exposed to it.

Spent 3 days in the hospital after heat stroke ...
(yep -- that bad) ...

KEEP Hydrated folks .. (sometimes .. it is difficult to do indeed .. which is why Heat Stroke happens)

All of the above at one point or another....the good news is that I caught or was caught in time before it became too serious....stationed in the middle east....bad things will happen quick if you don't hydrate often....I
