Shoot! Ain't ever body dun dat?! Yes, I have fired a shotgun. But he kept moving so I gave up and went home. Never saw him again though! Some men just don't know how to take a joke! XD
have several different makes and models and shoot on a regular basis. Nothing like the sound of a pump action to make intruders flee. It's is a universal recognized sound.
I have a distant memory of an uncle aiming a rifle, I think it was a .22, at a tree and having me reach up and pull the trigger. I think I was 4. That's the closest I've been to firing any gun. I was a good shot with airguns, though.

Growing up, one of my fathers favorite things to do was go Rabbit Hunting.
Also, one of the family entertainments were Skeet Shooting. (shooting at clay disks propelled into the ear with shotguns.)
